I don't know what happened.  It didn't let me finish what I was saying.  It was nice to meet your B and S/L.

Thanks Linda.  It was good to see you Friday.  Call me sometime and we will meet up.

DH's twin and his wife did the 1 mile so they were all together.  He had knee replacement and did good on the one mile.  It was a lot of fun for the whole family to participate in something like this.  I would never have imagined we would have done this two years ago!!

Thanks Tracey.  I won't know until the end of March or first of April if I made the lottery to do the 10K.

Congratulations! You have realized one of my dreams, to run a 5k race. I used to run 10k but never actually raced.  I think it is inspirational that you share your success.

Thanks.  I actually did more fast walking than jogging.  I jog/run much because my knees are not too good.  I was a catcher in high school and the knee joints aren't too good.  If I try to run much, they start hurting.  Someone did tell me if I started working out with weights on them it might build up some of the muscle around them and help me some.

I bet you will get back to racing before you know it!!  Good luck.

Fantastic finish.  I've signed up for my first 5K in April.  It too is a night time race.  Wow and you signed up for the peachtree too.  All I can say is Go Girl!

Thanks Cheryl.
I liked the night time race except it was really dark in some areas.  Thank goodness our road had just been paved so there were no pot holes.

Good luck on yours - let us know how it goes!!

The Peachtree race is a lottery so we won't know until week after whether we got in or not.
