NSV-No more sleep apnea

I received a message from my PCP. My recent sleep apnea test showed minimal sleep apnea and doesn't need treatment. YAHOO!!! I was using the CPAP machine pre-op, but post-op I hadn't been using it. What a relief!!! I knew, if the test came back positive, I would need to start using it again.

WLS has helped to make wonderful improvements in my health: no more sleep apnea, no back pain, no pre-diabetes, no joint pain. Just more energy, improved sleep, smaller clothes, improved self-esteem, and increased ability to exercise.

What a difference since last year at this time. I was feeling so stuck, but not any more.

Fantastic news! Oh, how I hope that happens for me. I am used to the CPAP but it is such a pain to take on my work travel. I go for a sleep study on April 1. Aren't they fun - no more for you! Woo hoo!

I am so very, very happy about this turn of events. Prior to surgery, I was also pre-diabetic and that is gone. So many NSV's with this surgery. I am so grateful to my PCP for suggesting the surgery to me. Getting rid of the sleep apnea is the true icing on the cake.
