sunday weigh in
Price, I noticed that the less weight that I had to lose, the slower the weight loss. After the first couple of months of rapid weight loss, I averaged 1-1.6 lbs/weeks. Some weeks were only 0.5 lb and I had a few 2 lb/week weight loss.
When I saw the dietician at my 6 month visit, she said to keep my calories between 800-850 cal/day and I would continue to lose, but at a slow rate. She based this amount on my level of exercise and height. She didn't want me to dip into the 700's cal/day, which I had been doing. My program also wants our protein and calories to come from food, but I do cheat with Starbuck's Skinny Lattes. Nonfat milk, sugar-free flavoring. Can't be that bad for me, could it? Good carbs.
Just keep doing what you're doing, and the weight will continue to drop. That is what I tell myself everyday.

I don't think that you are at the beginning of the end, Price. My surgeon told me (after the initial big drop) to expect 1-2 lbs per week. As long as I average a pound loos a week, I figure my pouch is working. I've had faster and slower weeks. I evaluate based on the monthly loss.
You are doing great!
