hmmm... me too.  Last time I tried Stevia (when it first came out) it was bitter and I couldn't deal with it.  Hopefully it's improved.  Any particular brands out there that any fellow LW's can suggest?

I'm crazy about that stuff particularly the real herb  and just chwing on the sweet leaves out in the garden.   What a pop of sweetness in the mouth !

I don't like the taste of licorice, anise, or fennel and stevia has a licorice-like taste. In fact I haven't found any non- caloric sweetener I like. That's why I use Beneprotein for my drinks. That said, there are lots of products with stevia, like Tera's whey protein powder. Truvia uses stevia as the main ingredient.

My taster seems more acute since surgery. I really like fresh fruit now and don't miss sweeteners. My only craving is for salty crunch.

Pepperoni chips work great for my salty, crunch craving.

I would kill for some of these right now.

Started my pre-op diet Saturday. I thought it wouldn't be that hard, but I would give anything for some real food more than once a day!

"organic discount grocer"?  Isn't that an oxymoron?

Thats called Ur local food  coop lol !!  they usually source  local farmers largely  organic  produce  ( or on its way to getting its organic certificate - the process takes seven years of growing  100% organically and proving it ...

and they only tack on 20%  profit for administrative costs . Like 1/3  the price of whole foods .
