Menus and Miles Friday March 18th

Looking at your menu I think you are eating healthy.  It's the carbs that can kill you after awhile.

It's funny how the scale won't move and then it goes up a couple of pounds.

My scales are still up from the surgery and I can't wait until the move back down.  Gina told me to stay off of the scales for a week but I just can't do it.

Hi Roz.  I tend to do better at home, but today I'm breaking that cycle.  I'm in the munchie mode and fighting it tooth and nail!  At work I do ok, but when I get home after work then its bad again.  So - during the day I do ok at home and work, at night its a struggle...

B - 2 protein coffees
S - 2 teaspoons of peanut butter
L - a chicken thigh
S - thinking of a greek yogurt or an Atkins bar
D - idk  - thinking about what to make

Vits:yep
Water:  doing ok

I'm ok as long as there isn't anything sitting out.  I just walked past a box of chocolate teddy grahams and I grabbed a handful and then put them back in except for 3.  I get so mad at myself, I should just grab the box and put it away.

Sometimes a TSP of peanut butter can settle the munchies for me.

Isn't Tom cooking tonight?

No - we went out for dinner tonight.  I looked for something to cook, but nothing jumped out at me - lol.

Peanut butter works for me sometimes too.  Had a little more tonight too... was feeling a bit shaky...

Since I work at home, I do pretty well here.  When I travel, I am in less control of what I have availbale.

Glad you are doing well from your surgery.  Keep taking it easy.  Lap sure beats open which was the only way it was done when I had mine out.  It was one of my worse surgeries.

Meals
flax popover  12g
edamama  8g
pepperoni  9g
protein drink  26g
hamberger, califlower  13g

I had 3 C-sections and my hysterectomy the old fashion way with up/down cuts and LAP isn't definitely easier.  This was such a breeze that I almost forgot I had it done.  When I came home yesterday I had to keep reminding myself to stop cleaning and picking things up.

Good Menu!!

I do better at home where I can control what ie in the pantry. Away from home even when I pack my own food I am often tempted by things not on my plan.

I forgot to eat lunch today so protein is unusually low. Just now realized I forgot it!

L forgot
