1.) What is your favorite flower?
Today it's my ranunculus which just unfurled the first of its four inch fluffy 100 petaled rose like flowers on two foot poppyish stems and fern like leaves always an astonishing sight so full and developed in so early spring . ... I love it with its cousins the tall white petaled black stamened anemones , and with blue pansies , green flowered hellebores and perennial violas at its feet and of course the perennial bulb show just beginning ...
but then the cold weather stocks are also just starting to bloom their spikes of flowers ... and lovely perennial heathers .... and have I mentioned the entire family o f the delightful Primroses tall Dutch , English and German , small woodland , multiflowered and single and double ..... all so different yet all so delicate and gorgeous ?

I get some baby cuddle time and my sisters' 55th birthday is on Sunday (main reason for going down). I need to get a card and present - but no idea what she wants/needs. She loves Penneys, so it may be a gift card for there. Will stop by my parents' place on the way home and fix a handrail for them.

2.) Victories/Challenges this week? Victories- the scale moved and I am now down to 142 WOOHOO, Challenges- Getting in my protein, catching up on classwork heck too many to list right now, but the scale moved and that is all that matters.
3.) Plans for the weekend? Soccer, soccer and more soccer! All 3 boys have games early tomorrow morning so I will be on the fields for 3 hours (need to remember the sunscreen)
When I get home I intend to finish cleaning the winter depris out of the back yard and finish the deck, not to mention probably mow a bit. Just busy all weekend long.
I love flowers too! It is hard to pick a favorite. It changes with my mood.
2.) Victories/Challenges this week?
I had my family visiting earlier in the week...my 2 sisters and my nephew. Food was a challenge. It seemed every thing we did was centered around eating. It really highlighted how DH and I had changed our eating habits. I was told, "you don't have any food in the house." What? Fruit, cheese, leftovers were in the fridge. Cereal (4 kinds), oatmeal, pancake mix, eggs, bacon, even a quiche for breakfast. I even bought diet soda for them. No cookies, cakes, pies, or chips in the house. It was very interesting. My 14 year old nephew could eat his weight (all 110 pounds of him) in food every day.
3.) Plans for the weekend?
I'm meeting a friend for a workout Saturday morning. We are doing our St Patrick's Day celebration on Saturday night. Sunday will be resting and laundry. I'm off to Dallas for work on Monday.

2.) Victories/Challenges this week? Victories/Challenges this week: I am in a stall and my challenge is staying positive in spite of the scale not moving. My victory is realizing that I WAS in a stall and not a danged thing I could do about it, that frettin' over it wasn't gonna make the scale move.
3.) Plans for the weekend? My plans are to go tomorrow after my chat with some friends in the morning to Home Depot or Lowes and get the next list of stuff to accomplish my kitchen redo. *I* am renovating the kitchen on a very skinny shoestring budget. And I have a bathroom attached that will get partially redone in the process. I will share photos of the before and after when done.
