I want to eat a bagel SOOOO bad

I have often looked at and smelled fresh bagels around my office and wished I could just taste it. However, at about two months out thats all that was available....I ate one bite and whew it wouldn't go down it was like trying to fit a cow down, lol. So I look at bagels and bread and rice like the plague for now. I know they have the 100 calorie thin bagles maybe you could use that option instead. I hope you firgure out a plan as I understand the heartaches of a craving.

I broke down and had 1/6 of a bagel.. it was okay.. now it's out of my system..  It didn't taste as good as I thought it would and honestly it just wasn't that great...
Mini mi..I drank two or three extra bottles of water yesterday telling myself it was water I needed and not a bagel lol..!!

I ALSO LOVE the flaxseed bread!  Yasmeen, I made it yesterday but I ended up not eating it..but my eight year old son, liked it..go figure??
My sister came over yesterday and I ended up going out with her to Friendl's with my son.  I got sick on their sugar free ice cream last week so I only had water but afterwards when I went out to Marshals and they had Dry Roasted Edamame.. They have 10grams of carbs and 14 grams of Protein.  The calories are like 130...not bad for a 1/4 cup and they keep you FULL.. I'm keeping these in my car for a snack when I'm without something to eat.  The bag only cost 1.49 and if my sister wasn't all over them yesterday, a bag will last a couple of days!

I'm so glad you liked it!  It's soooo quick and easy to make and allows me to eat "bread" totally guilt free.  The original recipe called for butter or olive oil, but I accidently forgot to put olive oil in once and found that it came out just fine without.  The trick is not to overcook it or it comes out like a cracker, but if you WANT a cracker then you can just nuke until it's hard and toast it.

I also make a cake pretty much daily with flax meal, lately I've been hooked on Pumpkin.  It's essentially the 2 minute muffin recipe but I use egg whites instead of a whole egg and add pumpkin (or banana, cocoa, shredded coconut, or whatever strikes your fancy) along with extracts and SF syrups.
