Good Morning. Friday, let's get her done!

Ok, it's the end of the workweek for many of us, so let's finish a few things and get ready to start a few new things. I want to finish a spreadsheet I've been working on for months and hand it off to the team next door. I think it will help them with their work, or at least I hope it does. We made some big advances yesterday with some new data we got our hands on--these 2 data sources combined should get them over one major hurdle or more.

Starting new things...spreading Spring mulch and doing some spring cleaning. {sigh} Not my favorite things to do but they've gotta happen. Meeting a new pre-op who's looking at using my surgeon on Sunday.

Oh, looking at another group cruise in July 2012. The invitation is open to LWs if anybody is interested in joining Donna and I on the cruise. She'll have you sliding down the big water slide in no time. I think they have dubbed her the "slide director". lol  Let me know if any of you might be interested and Donna, or I, will link you up to the sign-in and FB page.

Have a great Friday, y'all.

Gina,

That's awesome you enjoyed your cruise so much that you are ready for another one!  If you use the same cruise line, there are usually perks for returning passengers.  Do you know where you want to go in July 2012?

As for me,  it's back to exercise today-finally.  I was so sore after kickboxing on Saturday that I took two days off.  Then I had an all day presentation Wednesday.  I had planned on going to belly dance class yesterday but fell asleep in the family room instead. Not good!  The gym for me today.

Happy Friday.

The boat (Conquest) sails out of New Orleans and into the Caribbean. There are 3 or 4 shore excursions as well. Here's a link to a recent review on CruiseCritic. boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php

I just started a belly dance class last week - loved it!  My hips are getting it but I tend to do the opposite of the instructor with my hand.  I wonder if it is because I am left-handed.  Probably more likely it is lack of coodination!  Still, I had mucho fun and my back was do loose after the class.  Where do you go for class?

I take my class at the local Jewish Community Center.  Last year our insurance plan let us go for free to the local 24hour Fitness club but they stopped that perk so I switched gyms.  BTW I'm left handed too.  Since I don't want to admit to being so uncoordinated (LOL) I'll go with that being the reason I can't follow her hand movements either!

I'm looking forward to a weekend.  Yesterday I spent most of the day running (not the good kind) although I did take time out for the ponies.  Today looks about the same.  Computer guy coming, getting ready for a shower this weekend.

How can I lose the fronts and back  of the baby sweater I have been knitting right when I finish the sleeves and need to get it sewn together.  At this point the baby will have out grown it before I get it done. (different baby).  My house isn't that big.

Plus I have spent the week trying to get estimates on getting my car fixed while it is sitting in a shop and I am driving the truck.  I'm happy to have another car to drive, but if I wanted to drive something big, I wouldn't have a mini copper.  Then the estimates start coming in and they are only for the external damage, not all the stuff that happened underneath.  Now what?  If folks need work so bad, why can't they get this stuff done?????

A cruise is sounding very attractive this morning.

Never been on a cruise, does one require a passport?

Looks like an amazing time!

I have to work all weekend, but only 8 hours shifts instead of 12!  Yeah!

Going to meet a couple at PF Changs tomorrow night, not sure what I will order. I am going to check out the web site, I know they have nutritional info available. I love the oolong sea bass, hope it doesnt have too many fat grams.

TGIF!

Have a great day all!

Good morning Gina. I have today off work, but am not sure what I want to do this weekend.  I have family coming over Sunday, but I was concentrating on getting through the week, and didn't consider plans for the weekend.  Oh well I guess I'll figure it out.

Congratulations on finishing your spreadsheet.  I get such a sense of satisfaction for coming up with a bad-ass spreadsheet.  That's the geek in me.

Hi Gina

I love cruises!  How long is the cruise?  I'll have to wait to see what my employment status is... and of course that affects the money status... LOL

I wish we could get outside and do some work, but there's still a LOT of snow on the ground, even though its been in the 50s most of the week.  We've lost a bit of it and the driveway is finally clear... but we'll need some good warm rains and sun to get the rest gone.  The forecast for next week doesn't look like its going to cooperate with that plan though.

Morning Gina,
My BIL and SIL from Virginia are here for the weekend so I'm off today.  We are going to meet my other BIL and SIL for lunch today.  Everyone is coming to our house for supper tonight.
We are doing a 5K tomorrow night.  We will probably walk it instead of running.  So another busy weekend.

Hope you get your spread sheet done and it helps.

Have a great weekend.
