I had 28 grams of protein (shake) I mixed it with 1 cup silk milk
Water (lots and lots of water)
1/2 cup SF jello
1/2 cup of soup broth. Its the heart healthy kind
I was going to have 1 more protein shake before bed

You're doing fine, the idea at this point is just to get your liquids in.
I've read in other posts to aim for protein in this manner 30 grams in 30 days, 60 grams in 60 days and 90 grams in 90 days.
But yes, just concentrate on getting in your liquids. I had trouble at this stage, my tummy wanted to gurgle at me so much that getting in enough liquid was hard but I kept at it and finally made it.

At one day out, you sound like you are doing fine. I had RNY but for us, full liquid wasn't until about 10 days out. We were to get in 80g of protein, mostly shakes since we still couldn't eat more than an couple of ounces at a time. 6 meals a day, 48-64 oz of fluid whi*****luded our protein drinks. All of our "meals" were protein based, yogurt, cottage cheese, creamed soups, milk, SF FF pudding. Your jello and broth count as liquids. When you feel ready, you might want to start adding some protein other than your shakes, like yogurt and blended cottage cheese. Creamed soups were great for me because I wanted something that tasted real, not sugary shakes.
