Without protein the scale doesn't move???
So I admit I am the worst when it comes to daily protein. I drink Myoplex most days because just about everything else makes me sick. Anyway, I have been loosing steadily and then somehow between this week and last (while on vacation), I forgot about protein drinks and so the scale stopped moving. I am not discouraged and realize this could well be a stall, but has anyone else experienced this? It's funny because for the whole week and a half I've rocked back and forth between 178.5 and 180....WTH is that, lol. I exercise almost everyother day and I can barely eat much at all (NOT COMPLAINING). Any thoughts
It might be a coincidence...I dunno, I've not gone without protein shakes since surgery 3 1/2 years ago and I've always heard increase your shakes and fluids to break a stall. Interesting observation to be sure.

I do seem to lose better with 2 shakes than with 1 a day. Sometimes that bumps my protein up over 100 and calories up, but it seems to help more than food protein.

I found I lost more when I got more protein, but that does not need to be from shakes.
You can still lose without getting enough protein, but honestly, slow weight loss would be the least of your concerns if you don't get your protein. What happens is you start to break down your muscles for the amino acids you need, and your heart is a muscle. Breaking down your heart is about as bad as it sounds.
