Just about ready to leave for the hospital.  Fortunately we only live 15 minutes from it.

Hello to all of my Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!


Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.
  It's very important until you reach Goal to figure out your Calories, Fats, Carbs, and Proteins so that you know what your body needs to lose and then to maintain!!!!

I need to to stop baking..I end up eating too many carbs when I do!!

It's really hard to get away from the carbs once you let them back into your menus.  Unfortunately I don't think any of us can go carbless so we need to be able to just learn to control how many we eat in a day and not feel quilty.  Just keep in mind that they might not effect the scale during the honeymoon period so we can't fool ourselves that our bodies can handle them because eventually if we don't take control of them it will catch up on us.

so far : protein coffee ( two - made with organic espresso beans ..zooming around the room)

half a plate of two organic free range eggs overeasy with extra whites .... whole wheat sourdough bread with fat free promise n butterbuds n apricot ( no sugar) butter ...

i could only eat half...

B: 1/2 scoop Nectar Naturals Fruit Punch, 1/2 Pure Protein Chocolate Deluxe Bar 22g protein
S1: Jell-o salad with benefiber 9g protein
L: Tuna salad made with 1/2 tb mayo with olive oil, 2 oz green peppers, 1 stick colby jack cheese 30g protein (cut the green peppers to chip size and used them to scoop up my tuna salad, nom!)
S2: 1/2 Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar 10g protein
D: Home-made turkey meatballs (ground turkey, parmesan cheese, egg whites) with soy sauce, 1/4 cup italian blend veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, squash, zucchini & carrots) with a 1/4 tb smart balance light spread 23g protein
S3: 1/2 scoop Matrix Mint Cookie, 1/2 oz skim milk, 1/2 serving SF FF chocolate pudding mix blended with water and ice for "it tastes naughty but is good for you" protein shake 13g protein

Did my Curves circuit this morning, and worked in receiving for 4 hours (usually I am at a desk all day, so I count that as exercise). Planning to play with young one at play ground after work and possibly challenge DH to some Wii bowling.

Vites: I take 3-500 mg chewies of calcium (cherry tart) and have 1 left to do at 3pm, 2 multis with iron (forest berry) had 1/2 of a 2500 mcg B-12 this morning, will take biotin and D3 when I am allowed to drink again.

Had some strawberry stevia drink mix, a couple propel zeros (these are amazing especially the peach, berry, and pome-blueberry) and plan to have more to drink, including the other half of my protein shake from this morning (another 12g protein)

Todays totals (including supplements and beverages):
Calories: 1007, Fat: 30, Carbs: 57, Protein: 117 I love days I can manage to take in twice as much protein as carbs

 7/18/10: 211lbs, 10/16/10: 174 lbs, 1/21/11: 146 lbs, 4/20/11: 131 lbs. Insulin FREE since 7/2010, "normal" BMI since 12/2010. I'm 31, 5'5", happily married, with a fabulous 3 year old boy, and hope to add to our family in the near future
