Don't forget to wear green today and speak with an Irish brogue.

Oh crap! Do I have anything green any more? I used to wear green every day...um, not so much now.

Have a great Saint Patrick's Day!

I walked with my friend this morning.  We had a discussion about green clothes too.  I have these wonderful sparkly green flats.  I think of them as my "Emerald Slippers."   Today is the perfect day to pull the out of the closet and wear them.

Luck O' the Irish to you today too!

All of my work today is home with paper and the phone.  I'm not sure if the horses care if I have on green but I may pull out something.

Have a great day everyone, esp. Roz.

I NEED the luck of the Irish today !!  I have to deliver (  another  very unwelcome )  extension letter request to AP city hall.  I suspect the only green they want to see there  is  red green and black Jamaican  striped  lol.....( but certainly not on me )

All I can say is thank God  February has 28  days in it  .. yesterday  they truly showed me their agenda how they intend to excuse  themselves and not pay me the promised grant money  ( they talked my contractor into finishing the installation of the  furnace  " just a few days late " that it " didnt matter "  ( when it matters ABSOLUTELY since were dealing with federal funds and  100%  loss if the scheduled deadlines arent met )  and scared him into not asking for another written extension .meanwhile they didnt show up  at the last minute for  the inspection  because their " paperwork wasn't ready "  and kept him hopping from one newly assigned big task to another  for the last two weeks so he COULDNT finish ..

Meanwhile they're giving him a  course in how to place a mechanics lien on the house to sue  ME for the work hes done ( which he was supposed to get paid all along for and which theyve told him stories but failed to pay  him a dime )   .. and telling him he can get more money that way !!!

Their  only mistake was  assuming it was  over the thirty days to file for another extension.  Thank God He protects  the hard working innocent people ...  GRRR .

I only can pray  my contractor SIGNS the extension request  despite his fear  .... and files it along with me today as he must .

The LAST  extension request the  recipient  absented herself out of her office for the afternoon ...  the contractor and I  were forced to camp  out in the parking lot ..now HE has abstented himself too  ... OY VEY .   I guess this is  why i have a 1 )  smart lawyer theyre afraid of  on retainer

 2) have learned the HARD way to deal with FRIENDLIER  ciities ( and families ) who actually  WANT ME  and APPRECIATE me ...

Well, I'm not wearing green but I'm still in my grungies pulling wallpaper. On the last wall. Actually done except for what is behind the fridge.

Whoever hung drywall in this place did NOT know what they were doing. None of it was primed after it was hung, they just slapped wallpaper on top of it. Then the next person slapped wallpaper on top of that. But I am down to the drywall now.
