Welcome!!  That's a good idea to drink the shake and then the bar especially if you are drinking/eating at the same time and not waiting a 1/2 hour or more between them.

My habit had actually been to eat the bar when I wake up and start on the shake when I start my workout, there is at least 30 minutes between (I have a 40 minute commute and the gym is down the street from my job). I am a very good girl when it comes to my drink stop/meal times, paranoia and all that fun stuff

I cleaned my kitchen really good but you would never know it today...LOL

Awesome Totals!!!   I've got to work on getting my carbs that low.

 walked  a few miles 

two organic free range eggs  over easy  in whole wheat  low glycemic turkish labne bread  

protein coffee 

one whole package  dried mango  with chili  ( so naughty ! ) 

6 ounces  lowfat  soy "bleu " cheese  organic  6  ounces fat total 

homemade frozen baby Egyptian okra  with bindi masala curry, shallots   promise and butter buds yum ! 

Moroccan stewed eye round  baked with  garlic , marsala wine  , and  eventually  Moroccan pickled lemons 

probably salad 

amazing  green Chilean  organic grapes 

a bit of  Portuguese vino verde 

maybe more protein coffee w Frangelico 

vanilla rooibos tea 

the  fat free  whole  wheat organic  but  nevertheless caloric  poppyseed  / morello cherry strudel got me -  ate three  pieces last night  and one this morning   ach    but it WAS  good !  time to run

 LOL  Roz.   Someimes I wish I wasn't such a foodie but I'm darn glad even THIS  can be made  compatible with successful  post-bariatric eating .... 

im basically  addicted to trying different tastes and spices and  techniques of cooking from around the world .. that doesnt mean I have to do it GREASY  or sweet or unhealthy though .
