 Thank you ladies,
I came home yesterday.  No complications except my sugar levels were up after surgery.  They had to keep checking them every hour.  I did have to go on insulin drip to get them under control.  Found that the reason why they were high was because the IV fluid they gave me had sugar in it.  Once they switched to the kind with no sugar my levels were fine.  I didn't get much sleep while I was in the hospital.  They would not give me any gas X.  They said that it could harm my pouch.  What is up with that?  I can't seem to eat very much.  I can only drink about 1 oz of shake 3 times a day and sip on water.  Is this normal?  I am not hungry so I have to force myself to eat.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!.  I can't believe I am now on the other side of this. I will be so happy to get my strength back.

Kim
