This is really weird but I have to ask....
So I have pants in smaller sizes, and I tried on a pair of smaller jeans today.  They zipped right up, but I noticed that, when I wore these jeans a couple years ago the waistband rode at my waist, but now the waistband is almost at my bra strap, sorta like Pharis Bueller's pants.

So my body is not only losing inches, but my SHAPE is different from when I was this weight a couple years ago...  Did this happen to any of you???

could they just be bigger on you than they were the last time you were wearing them?

I had been fat for so long I really didn't have any old clothes. Well, I had some 20s instead of 22 or 24 but they didn't fit much different.

I would think if they were just too big, they would come up further since there would be more fabric and less you. Or are your boobs lower? I know mine are.

ok, yes, the sistas ride a bit lower in the saddle than in the days when I passed the pencil test.  But this is different: the pants fit my hips, but i can pull them up higher.

Weird.  Maybe I just have less @ss than when I wore them before.  I suppose I should ask my DH.  He'd notice THAT.

I noticed the same on some of my old pants,  I figured my hips were straining the material anymore and my waist wasn't so broad so that left extra fabric to pull up.  I also figured they looked ridiculous so I got rid of them!

Yup - shape changes as we lose weight idiosyncratically (just my long-winded way to say that it doesn't come off evenly - in location or speed!).

My shape seems completely different too.

My 13/14's from pre- pregnancy weight I kept all of them, as well as my L shirts. When I hit 180-190 again (which was the weight I was when I wore that size) nothing looked right. The pants accentuated my gut, and still wouldn't stay up~lack of hips~) and my shirts just hung poorly.

I was happy to say good bye to them

Even in the last few months 135-150 lbs (4-10 clothing sizes) I've noticed things seeming to change. In December I was still noticing gut under my jeans, then it started to be less visible and yet my pants were snugger! I swear my hips were spreading/widening! I still have no padding on my hips so it's not like I gained there.

These days I'm convinced my hips are wider, but I wonder how much of that is just because I'm finally less thick so I feel more wide in comparison. My thickness was always front to back, never side to side. Now I'm just little all around, which is much better by me :D

Cheer up, soon you'll get to toss those ill fitting clothes out and buy/get somethign that really fits well and shows off your new figure to the best advantage
