I agree with the other posters. You might also have a small ulcer at the opening of the urethra from pressure of the catheter against the opening, kinda like a pressure bed sore from lying too long on one side.

I would def ask the surgeon and ask him to look there and see if he sees anything. He will know how to look, trust me,lol.

Also, are you getting 64+ ounces of fluid a day? concentrated urine can also cause this feeling as concentrated urine is thicker than diluted urine.

Nooooooo!!!!!   I don't want him to LOOK at it!!!    rofl!!!  Egads, why do you think I came to you guys??  Anything but that!!  hahahaha   He can look at my insides, but only the surgical nurse had to look at... *that*... I think.

Well, I'm taking some antibiotics and we'll see if there's improvement by Thursday afternoon.  If not... I'll humble myself.

And I am getting all my liquids in.  Color is straw to clear and not painful to eliminate.

I haven't lost *quite* enough weight to get out a mirror and be able to have a look myself... which is extremely frustrating.  LOL

LOL,humble is good. You might ask his nurse to look at it first and she might be able to tell him what it is and he won't have to look.
