Sunday weigh in
Ugh....another week of too much wine and too many starches....
last week 171
this week 173.5
+2.5.....I'm hoping this will come off as quick as it came on...I'm going to be out of town by myself this week so I won't have all of the influences/temptations around me and I can get back on track and FINALLY get to goal...How did everyone else do?

So after bragging yesterday, the scale gods came and got me.
Last week 142
This week 141, I know it was 140.8 yesterday. Eating late, different foods, whatever. I'll be back down tomorrow I imagine.

Day 28 post-surgery
after a 10 day weight stall....
last Sunday 187
this Sunday 184.5
As sad as only 2.5 lbs sounds, I am happy to report my once a month measurement date yielded better results. I've lost 18 inches (if you could each leg and each arm!). Nearly 5 inches lost around my waist.
Alas, the sistas lost a couple inches too and they now point south. However, they make bras and PS for that. DH doesn't seem to notice, he keeps putting his hands on my *new* waist.

Really? Is that about what you lost at this point? Cause I was expecting maybe 4 lbs a week or so.
BTW, I got the Jay Robb Tropical Dreamsicle. It's Whey protein, not egg white, but it's actually really good with skim milk and ice. It DOES taste like a dreamsicle, and i can see myself drinking it regularly for 25 g of protein plus the protein in whatever milk product I use.
Thank you (and BBMaker) for the suggestion!

Woo hoo! I'm so glad you found a protein you can stomach! I tried a Syntrax naturals orange today--OMG, so gross. The peach naturals is not bad, but the orange? Gag.
Let's see.. you're about a month out? And you've lost 26.5 lbs? I'd say that's pretty phenomenal. I think I lost 18 the first month, and then I lost about 8 the second month, and I'm coming up on my third month and I am down a total of 31.5 lbs. I had weeks where I lost only 0.5 lbs. Some people lose a lot faster, but I'd say 2.5 lbs in a week is pretty darn good considering your totals for one month out!! The way you're going, you're gonna hit goal way before me. :) I look at any loss as a Good Thing, no matter how small the number.

well, I lost 11 the week before surgery on the liquid diet. Then the two weeks AFTER surgery I lost 14 lbs, a pound a day. Then I didn't lose anything for 10 days, then 2.5 lbs since whenever Liz said "Put the scale away!!", maybe Wednesday or Thursday. So I've really only lost 17.5 lbs since surgery, right around what you lost, and I'm 2 days shy of my 4 week mark.
I am going to start hauling dirt in the garden-- I bought 2 dump truck loads last year, and have about a dump truck load left. I figure that is a good aerobic/weight lifting combo, and I'll get plenty of sunshine.

Well, then because I refuse to believe my results are anything less than normal, I will say you are right on track. ;D Just keep on as you were doing, exercise when you can, and it WILL come off. I was going down, like I said, in 0.5 lb increments for quite a while, and then BAM one week I lost 5.5 lbs! And now I'm back to 0.5 increments or nothing at all. So don't feel bad, sleeve sister. It'll come. And rejoice in any losses, since it could be a gain instead of a loss! :)
Enjoy your sunshine! It's gloomy and still very snowy here in Minnesota. I wish I could do some gardening. :)
