OMG, I slept til NOON!
I haven't slept til noon for years and years, not even when I had surgery.

My stomach must have been VERY tired doing so much digestion last night. DH and I went to Outback Steakhouse for our first date night in 5 weeks.  I had 1/3 of a small ahi tuna appetizer and 2 tablespoons of potato soup.   Then over the course of the evening at home I ate the rest of the ahi tuna. Wow, the calories on my food diary looked like they HAD to ******ror. 

Alas, they weren't...

 It was my first solid food, and I think I'm going to lie to myself and say that yes, the ahi tuna was a puree so I can pretend I've been a rule follower on my surgeon's food plan.

And I thought it was 130 degrees~~!!  The unjury container says 130 I think.

Yeah, you're right. Some powders are better kept around 130 degrees.

I ate sushi 3 weeks out - chewed the living daylights out of it.  Looked pretty funny too with me cutting up sashimi - lol.. the cook was a bit taken back when I asked for a knife...

OMG! I slept till 11:00!! Well really 10:00, has to be the pain meds that I am taking because I really felt refreshed this morning.

Have already dusted, laundried, kitchened, bathroomed and laundry roomed ( all cleaned of coures) Have gone to Dollar General and am now waiting to take DS#2 to his Boy Scout banquet, he should level upp today.
Later on I have friends coming over for desert ( gonna talk about getting into a home based business)
I still have my homework to do and get outside and clean the yard, it is so pretty right now, I think I will put that other layer of weather proofing on the deck.

Woke up at 8:30 time change...

No protein coffee for me - bad me today.  I notice when I'm home I tend not to drink it.  Tom has a cup of coffee waiting for me by the couch when I get up (he's an early riser) and just keeps refilling it.. then I'm full... I've tried training him how to make it, but he hasn't done it yet...

We're doing a small remodel job to the bathroom - putting in another vanity/sink/mirror, towel racks etc.  I finished painting the bathroom yesterday and finished the shower today.  He has 10' ceilings - what a PITA!  We also bought unfinished cabinets, so I've been working on that inbetween today too.  I'm a tired pup...

Toms kids come to dinner ever Sunday, so I need to get this place picked up too.  He's making the dinner....

 Larry and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a walk on the beach. After an hour's walk we came home to the hot tub.  Nice!

I tried the protein powders in the coffee and just couldn't get it right.  Now I put one third of a Costco Premier Brand chocolate protein shake (already liquid!) in my coffee.  No clumps and I get 10 grams of protein in each cup.  It really helps me get in enough protein.  I've been tracking my intake and calories on loseit.com (I use the cell phone app) and I'm finally in the range I'm supposed to be.  Plus, for the first time EVER I am keeping the log of everything I eat (even the not so good stuff).  I'm proud of my honesty. Only took 55 years to get there LOL

 Good Morning!

I went to sleep at midnight and set the alarm for 7am. Good thing I did because I was sound asleep.  I got up early to go downtown to my Taiji Qigong Shibashi class from 7:30-8:30.  I was really happy i got up because it wasn't raining and we could enjoy the cool morning air.

I keep my protein under 130.  I can't tolerate sweet coffee so I have to have protein cocoa on those days when i need more protein,

 I volunteered at a triathlon this morning (I body marked people and then protected a corner on the bike course)  .... My day started early since I had to be there by 5:30 and it's an hour away
I'm sure I'll be ready for bed early tonight

Last night I took my daughter to the midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Bad night to do that since we got home at 3 am which turned into 4 am. I woke up at 11 am and couldn't go back to sleep. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight. I haven't stayed up past midnight in a long time. I haven't even gone out at night for a long time.
Tonight we are going out to dinner to celebrate my daughter's wedding. The kids want to go to Izzy's, which is a pizza buffet place. All you can eat. My favorite words pre op. Now I'm not worried about what to eat. They have plenty of protein. I'm just pissed because I hate spending all that money on such a small amount of food. Normally I don't mind because I can take things home but you can't do that at a buffet. Oh well, all those years they lost money on me I guess I can live with it.
Last Thursday we went to Chang's, another all you can eat place and I didn't feel bad. I got a bowl of chicken, which grilled down to nothing, and another bowl of vegetables, and when it was cooked it was about a cup of food. I ate all the chicken out of it and nibbled on the vegetables and didn't feel like I was ripped off.
