I think with the clocks being set forward we are all once again in sync....well, maybe. Where is everyone? 

Ok, maybe not. {sigh}  I'll just sit here and post to myownself while y'all snooze away a perfectly good Sunday morning.

Is that coffee I smell?

Why, yes it is!

Mmmm...protein coffee!

Recipe, you ask?

Sure!

Protein Coffee__
Brew a pot of coffee as usual

In a 20oz blender bottle with wire ball, mix together 4 ounces of milk (skim, low carb milk, Lactaid milk, soy, almond, half & half, etc)  with 1 to 1 1/2 scoops of IDS MultiPro vanilla-cinnamon protein powder (vanilla, chocolate or whatever you like). 

Pour the protein slurry in to a huge coffee mug. Pour in the hot coffee and stir. 

You want to keep the protein under 160 degrees at all times so it doesn't clump. This way has never ever clumped or cooked the protein on me.

So Ted, our grandcat (that we're sitting for while DS and DDIL market their house) routinely wakes us between 3-3:30 each morning, then once we pet, he settles back down and we sleep.

This morning, because of the time change, it's now 4:30 when he performs his routine.  Do we follow protocol, pet then sleep?  No my DH decides to get the time change thing out of the way and gets up and goes to the gym.  How can one naturally lazy woman cope with that?  Do I follow suit?  Nope, turn over and finish the dream.... Think Matt Damon was in the dream as we say Adjustment Bureau yesterday.

Good morning. I think I've managed to ease right in to the time change.  I fell asleep pretty early.  I've been especially tired the last few days--I hope it's not a sign of deficiency of something.  When I get like this, I'm always suspicious of my thyroid levels, but my TSH was ok in December.  Who knows if it's still ok?  Guess I'll ask to get it checked again if this keeps up.

my lil man woke up right on schedule..I'm asuming bedtime will be difficult tonight

I am off to the outlets today to shop for my trip. I need everything, not a thing fom last year fits  I even need new underware so Jockey outlet here I come..lol!  The weather is beautiful here so lookikng forward to being outside.

My sisters are here. Even though they are on east coast time, they are sleeping in.  I pushed them pretty hard yesterday with all the walking and shopping. 

I don't see them often and it is even more rare to have the 3 of us together.  I've been the only woman in my house for nearly a 2 decades.  Apparently, I'm not the only woman in the world who has her crabby moments.   There were some stressful times yesterday.  Sister #2 wore 4 inch wedge heels to shop and walk the local art celebration.  "I wear these all the time."  She doesn't wear them for 5 hours straight.  "I didn't realize we were going to have to walk so much."  Huh? Do we sit down to shop?  When have you ever be to a festival, where the parking is next to the booths?

Ummmmmmm!  Ummmm ! Deep breath.  Deep breath.  I'm letting go and enjoying the company.

Poor DH, he's got 3 middle aged women with strong personalities to deal with.  He deserves some special treatment.  Massages are on the schedule for the 4 of us this morning!

Also, I haven't been drinking the Protein coffee because I keep getting clumps..I'll try it this way and see what I can see.

I think we all tweek our coffee receipe but making the slurry first is common to most that are successful.  Couldn't do without my protein coffee in the morning.

I woke at 5, really 6 and decided it was Sunday, go back to bed.  So I got up at daylight which was now 7:30 not 6:30.  Ok, still have plenty of time.

Off to Greenville to take DD off to the airport.  It's been great to see her even if it is a short visit.

Crap I slept till 9:30 which would have been 8:30!!   
Im behind on homework now and need to get tons of laundry done.
I have a feeling Im going to have a hard time falling asleep tonight.....
