Tuesday is my WLS date. And I'm so stinkin excited. I can't wait for this to happen. I have been reading so much and asking so many questions. I can't believe its only 3 days away. I have picked up everything I will need. I have enough to last me 2 weeks so I don't have to go out. I have easy to cook meals for the kids for two weeks. (makes it easier on hubby) I have been drink 1 protein shake a day to get used to it. And OHHH I LOVE THEM...There is so many ways to make them taste soooo good.

You all have been so wonderful with all your great advise. The Light weights board has really helped me out so much.

Take Care
God Bless

Woo Hoo April.  You will be there before you know it.

Don't be surprised if nothing taste good after surgery.  For me, everything just had too much taste, too sweet, salty, strong.  Although I have never been a big water drinker, water was the only thing that tasted good.  And warm may be easier than cold.  I still have all my drinks warm, protein and otherwise.

Here's to Tues, may it be a great day.

We're warmin' the loser's bench for ya April!
Sit right down hee-year (pat, pat) with me.

Don't forget to take your Ruthie Attitude Team (RAT) behavior to the hospital with you.  Tuck it behind your ear, and when you want to fuss, or cry, or snap (like when the nurse wakes you up to "just take your temperature"), remember you're workng on earning your RAT badge, and pull out that RAT smile.
