Good Morning. Newton's clock has already sprung forward

Newton is the doggy you see in my avatar. He's about 2 years old now and spoiled rotten. Anyway, his clock has already gone to daylight savings time, as if I don't already get up early enough! {sigh} I think his week in the kennel is giving him nightmares or just threw his internal doggy schedule off. Poor baby!!   So, this morning he wakes up and wants up on the bed at 2:30AM...not 3 or even 3:30AM, as it's been going since we got home from the cruise, but 2:30AM! If I could depend on him I could probably schedule a vitamin to take at that time every morning but I'm not sure he will stay consistent...One of the NUT's suggestions was to take my vitamin K1 away from other vitamins for 6 months and see if it bounces back up. She knows I watch trends and saw that it had dropped a couple of points without changing my dose. She's a good NUT. (Is that an oxymoron?)

I think there will be another opportunity to talk vitamins and labs Saturday night on the Facebook LW group. If you would like to join the group send me your Facebook name and email via PM, I'll try to find you and friend you so I can add you to the group. It's a secret group, so while you see it on your news feed when someone posts, no one else will see it...some of us are not "out of the closet" about WLS on Facebook and we respect that.

Y'all have an excellent Thursday.

That is early!!!!

I wake up around then to pee and go back to bed.  6 is my more normal time.  This morning my guys were trying to leave at 6, well, they are still not out the door and it is 6:30.

Does seem strange that once I don't have to set a clock, I am up anyway.  If I sleep to 7:30 it is a minor miracle.  But then again, I go to bed early also.  After 8 or 9 hours, it is time to get up.

Got my labs drawn on Monday.  Hopefully some of them will be in when I see my PCP on next Monday, then the rest in before I see the Nut and Surgeon on the next Monday.  I don't think they were complete so after I get them back I will at least know what else needs to be ordered next time.

I think he just wants to make sure Ure THERE and U still love him lol .....

its a Long Long night for a litle furry one to wait by the bed fora pet and a snuggle ... I find my Mini me generally cozied up under my neck or in the crook of my arm when I open my eyes .... such a snuggly little bear !

Mini - me has to go in for anastheticless tumor removal soon ... he has two tiny ones this time.... one on his neck and one under his front right arm.

they do spread and are contagious so they have to be removed ... and as a Persian cat he can very easily die from anesthesia so its done without it ..just by surprise . Of course number two is hardly going to be a surprise .

He has a wonderful vet and last time the biggest trauma was for MOMMY before And after ... the patient happily ate a hamburger afterwards ....and basked in the attention and many pets of the nurses ...

I hope this time he doesnt try to bite the vet ...hes also famous for doing That .. and VERY EFFECTIVELY LOL ....

I'm having SUCH a difficult business negotiation ... bottom line is my partner in this deal just doest want to pay me anything . And because I was such a sucker that I fronted basically the whole business ..I just have to start packing my stuff today and show him I mean it . I pray that WORKS .... otherwise I just have to remember that this door closing means free time and the freedom to pursue other opportunities ....

I invested SO MUCH time and money and energy here though I just pray he sees reason and gives me something other than empty promises and disrespect .

Mini Me has the best mommy!  Cat snuggles are great, especially when you get a purr massage.  We need a cat icon on this site.

Best of luck on the business stuff.  Negotiating is not my strong suit, nor is confrontation.

We're cat sitting our son's cat while they market their house.  Ted, wakes us each morning between 3 and 3:30.  At first, his dish was empty, but we're careful now to fill it before bedtime.  He doesn't keep us awake, he just needs to let us know he's there (cold nose on our faces).  Then he settles down until the alarm at 5:00.  Three weeks without fail.  amazing...

Good morning, I also have a furry alarm clock. Altho mine is feline. They tend to sit on my kidneys to wake me up at 4AM. I get up and take my thyroid meds at that point in time. I have to take them first thing in the morning away from every thing else anyway, so it's the perfect time.

Good morning Gina.  I actually have time to look at OH this morning--I wish I didn't have to leave the house till 8:30 every morning.  I don't have a furry alarm clock, but wish I could have one now.  The timing just isn't good right now.

Today I'm off to a conference to expand my mind.  Work isn't sponsoring it, and I'm actually taking a floating holiday to attend.  I hope I really get something out of it.

Before I know it, I'll be saying TGIF.

Newton and I are on the same sked.  I wake up between 2:30 and 3, prowl around for an hour, do laundry or dishes or other household chores that don't make too much noise, then head to bed about 4:15, around the time my husband's alarm starts ringing (every ten minutes til he get's up an hour later.)
