I Have a Date!
Just spoke with the surgery scheduler, and I'm getting sleeved on April 18th! I was really hoping for the 11th, but my options were the 4th or the 18th, and it was better for my job to do it the 18th, so I am!
I'm really excited, and a little nervous. I have to do a month of Optifast before surgery, which I'll start in the next week or two. That's a rather long pre-surgery diet, but I do get one meal a day, so I think I'll be okay.
Anyway, hooray surgery!

Woo Hoo.
The optifast isn't that bad. I really liked the chicken soup and if you like celery, you can slice that and cook it in the water, then add the powder and mix. It is like being able to have another meal. The one meal makes it possible to cook for your family and still have some variety. I didn't get hungry, just bored towards the end.
