Congrats girly! I'm in the same boat as you are, doing o.k. out here in cyberspace, but I'm thinking it's going to take forever as well. I gained a few weeks ago... but am back to the 1-2lbs per week program now.

Doesn't it feel so great though to have more than 50#'s gone? That's like a big sack of grain or a big bag of dogfood.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I think Ure doing awesome Cheryl. The main thing to remember is U control the losing switch ... U can get out and walk fast or even start to run/ walk at this point safely provided U have great new cushioned fore and aft running shoes.

( I like Mens Nike and Asics very light gel fore and aft running shoes - theyre built far tougher to cushion greater impact by somewhat heavier people and are a far better value for the same money in my opinion) Mens shoes are built for cushioning up to 165-185 lb impact supposedly while womens are built for 125-135 lbers . Same exact price !!

Me, I go for the higher cushioning EVERY time ... and I've NEVER had a single knee or hip or foot issue since I started responsibly buying good supportive sneakers....

U can also take Ur skin stretching in hand by working out the relevant bodyparts and scrubbing down with 2% salicylic acid containing bodyscrubs ( acne section , neutrogena , seven bux ..) whi*****rease cell turnover and so skin tightening ...

I think its really important to do these things particularly for arms ( so no batwings ) , tummy , and thigh and underbutt area so U dont get buttflaps lol.

Exercise will keep all these potential sags mostly at bay ;) and U wont get stretchmarks either in my experience .

Oh also ... please please double bag the girls .... a bad exercise bra has caused many a plastic surgery .....

The only thing that supports bewbies is SKIN ... so its REALLY important that they never bounce and it never stretch ...

I just wear two very supportive bras one on top o fthe other .... noone realy sees unless I take my top off and just run in a running bra ... and ask me if I CARE that they see extra straps ....lol . If theyre behind me that means I left them in the dust anyway

I will wear one exercise bra rollerblading because thats not an up-and - down motion so I do get to be just cute in my exercise outfits once in a while ......

Ava, thanks for all the suggestions.  I took one of your previous suggestions and bought new running shoes, New Balance in a men's size with orthotic inserts.  I've already ditched the inserts because they twisted my gait in an uncomfortable manner.  I went to the New Balance store and they had an analyzer for the orthotics.  Anyway, I'm now doing 2 mile runs alternating with intervals and a long run (3.12 miles) each week on my c25K program.  I'm doing upper body free weights 2-3 times per week, elliptical, recumbent bike, and just started yoga.  I've got the exercise part covered.

Now for the mental exercise.  That I need a plan for... I do OH every day, and a support group 1-month.  But I'm seriously thinking I'll need professional guidance.

I'm going to try the salicylic acid wash.  I'm already developing bat wings that would make a bat envious.  My girls were nothing much to begin with, and they stay in place pretty well with a single sports bra, but the bras are getting looser, so I need to change sizes there.

I'm itching to shop, so last week I bought a new workout outfit, a tank with built in bra and tummy control panel.  It's pretty tight and is keeping the bouncing to a minimum.  The pants are tight too.  Only the bits outside the fabric are flapping in the breeze.

My first 5K is April 8th, my second (at the beach) is May 21.

Thanks for all your support.
