I love when my DH goes on his hunting trips. My girls used to love
it too because we got to eat our favorite meal....scrambled eggs, tuna fish, and noodles....YUM.

My dad used to travel for business too. We always loved for him to go cause we got to fix things he didn't like ,like pizza,lasagna,spaghetti and stuff like that. he was a meat and potatoes and beans man and didn't like casseroles and stuff like we wanted,lol.

fat free low carb Swedish meatballs ... this is a great tasting and oh-so easy recipe .... would work great for a company type chafing dish too with toothpicks ...
99 % fatfree ground turkey one standard package ( makes a LOT)
Miele meat patty vegetable seasoning packet from the Polish store .... where the soupmixes are
Winary also makes one ..knorr does too essentially the same thing . Mix it into the meat to make it taste bright and tender ....
one packet Polish mushroom soupmix - the lightest kind ( Piezkarova ) if U can get it .
make the meatballs into balls and toast very very briefly under preheated broller to give a tiny bit of color and hold them together .
slice 5 or 6 garlics and saute with water in pan ... add soupmix and some water - cook - add one packege mushrooms sliced , the turkey balls one half packet or one tablespoon butter buds if U have it and some diluted powdered milk if U like just before U take it off the heat to make an authentic tasting ( but fat free andcarb light ) "cream " sauce . Also some chives at the last minute would be great in this ...
Im a big fan of Swedish meatballs but they are essentially a fattening comfort dish - this is both way better tasting and far less fatty and carby ...
U could also add some paprika when the garlic is done,briefly allow the flavor to bloom by adding a spoonnful ofwater and allowing the paprika grains to swell before U dilute and add the soupmix.... this would make it Hungarian style !
