3 week stall -- feeling like a failed dieter

Ok, so last Wednesday I go upstairs, all excited to see my old fashioned doctor's scale weight slide to the left another lb. I jump on the scale and ...... NOTHING.

Thursday... NOTHING. Huh, that's interesting....

Friday.... eek, what the ??? is going on.

Repeat until today, when my thoughts on an unmoving scale went something like "WTF!!!"
I scramble to look at my food diary.  Nope, no extra salt, calories, or carbs above 45. Protein hovering between 45-65. Peer at my exercise diary.... exercised every day but one in the past seven, including aerobic and even some garden weight lifting.

So I feel like I've been dieting and failing. Yes, I know some people stall at 3 weeks.
Is it REALLY something I have to just "ride out," or is there some LW magic that you goddesses can whisper to me here on the Internet to make the stall disappear?

Oh, and I'm not complaining about my loss to date. In fact, today I had my first monthly measurements check and I lost 14 inches, including 4.5 inches in my waist and 2.5 inches on my hips.  (We won't talk about the bewbie loss.....)

If there is no LW goddess magic phrase, can someone just pat me on the back and reassure me that I'm not going to be a sleevie failure?

Don't panic, you're doing great. 40-50 grams is fine at your stage but the following is the LW goddess magic phrase: "Increase your shakes and ride it out." Get your protein up to around 100g a day as soon as you can. That usually means shakes this early out. Push the fluids as well. Have you started on your vitamins?

The Celebrate powdered citrus is good, if you like Tang.  Pricey though.  I'm sticking with Centrum.

No sleeve here but I would say the same thing, add another protein drink.  Mine are all actually hot instead of cold shakes at this point but more protein is all I can say.

When I have "stalled", I have bounced around, up down up down.  I think our bodies do it differently.  But after losing a bunch, everything needs to regroup.  Then you will start losing again.

You aren't a failure, this is going to work.  I promise.  You work your plan, and it will work for you.

I hope no one minds my co-opting this conversation with a question for you... Namely, how do you make your protein shakes hot? (Maybe it's a silly question, but I'm worried about it clumping or separating...)

I do decaf coffee or hot chocolate, or hot lemon tea.  If I am using coffee, I start with hot coffee or make ho****er in the mircowave.  With chocolate or tea, nuke a cup of water.  Then in a small cup, with warm tap water, about 1/4c, mix in your protein, usually 1 scoop.  Then mix the 2.  For hot chocolate, i use chocolate or chocolate peanut butter protein and a 25 cal. SF Swiss miss.  For the tea, I use Nectar lemon tea by itself.  For coffee, I use vanilla protein with either a shake of cinnamon or maybe add some SF syurp.  You can also add unflavored protein to any tea that way, but I just use the lemon tea protein.  The trick is to not heat the protein too hot.

My version is a little different than Price's, since I drink neither tea nor coffee (choice - not requirement.  I never liked the coffee taste, and the only tea I enjoy is Constant Comment with cinnamon red hots melted in the bottom and a cinnamon stick stirrer.  The pouch doesn't like it even though my mouth does - and substitutes for the cinnamon haven't done the trick).

I take my protein scoop, put it in a microwaveable cup, and add any flavorings (unsweetened cocoa, splenda, and SF syrups 1-3 tablespoons).  The syrups are the most important part for me, as they not only add some flavor, in this case, they also allow me to make a room temp "paste" of my protein without using up my cold milk.

Then I measure out my milk (I use 4 oz to about 30g of protein, as I like thick drinks) and nuke it alone in the microwave.  When it's very warm, I mix it into the paste.  When I've tried mixing the milk in before heating I've had difficulties with clumping, but this way I've had no problems.

Right there with ya' sleeve sista'.  Except for me, I lose for about 2 days, then gain. Then it takes 2 days to get just below my lowest weight, then gain. It's the dreaded 3 week stall, I guess. Body getting over the shock of surgery and rapid diet change. I had the same thought yesterday. Did I go through surgery and this is all I'm going to lose? I hope it gets better for both of us.
