3 week stall -- feeling like a failed dieter
Thursday... NOTHING. Huh, that's interesting....
Friday.... eek, what the ??? is going on.
Repeat until today, when my thoughts on an unmoving scale went something like "WTF!!!"
I scramble to look at my food diary. Nope, no extra salt, calories, or carbs above 45. Protein hovering between 45-65. Peer at my exercise diary.... exercised every day but one in the past seven, including aerobic and even some garden weight lifting.
So I feel like I've been dieting and failing. Yes, I know some people stall at 3 weeks.
Is it REALLY something I have to just "ride out," or is there some LW magic that you goddesses can whisper to me here on the Internet to make the stall disappear?
Oh, and I'm not complaining about my loss to date. In fact, today I had my first monthly measurements check and I lost 14 inches, including 4.5 inches in my waist and 2.5 inches on my hips. (We won't talk about the bewbie loss.....)
If there is no LW goddess magic phrase, can someone just pat me on the back and reassure me that I'm not going to be a sleevie failure?

When I have "stalled", I have bounced around, up down up down. I think our bodies do it differently. But after losing a bunch, everything needs to regroup. Then you will start losing again.
You aren't a failure, this is going to work. I promise. You work your plan, and it will work for you.

I take my protein scoop, put it in a microwaveable cup, and add any flavorings (unsweetened cocoa, splenda, and SF syrups 1-3 tablespoons). The syrups are the most important part for me, as they not only add some flavor, in this case, they also allow me to make a room temp "paste" of my protein without using up my cold milk.
Then I measure out my milk (I use 4 oz to about 30g of protein, as I like thick drinks) and nuke it alone in the microwave. When it's very warm, I mix it into the paste. When I've tried mixing the milk in before heating I've had difficulties with clumping, but this way I've had no problems.
