Bizarre NSV

that's wonderful news and gives us all hope.

i bought a pair of leggings in SMALL over the weekend that I still haven't tried on. I look at them and raise an eyebrow (bought them at a store that doesn't have dressing rooms~ on clearance). and i know that size 4-6 is supposed to equate to small and that's where i am, but i can't help but be dubious. I'll probably be the same way the first time I purchase A panty hose :P

You know - I still do that.  When I take my jeans out of the dryer I think "I can't fit into those"....

Try the leggings on and give yourself a nice surprise and a big smile!

I might when I get home. And I understand that in theory they should and will fit. It's just getting that integrated into my new normal view of myself. Tell me, does that EVER come?

the leggings fit perfectly. i wore them to my morning work out and they are currently under my dress pants keeping me warm :)

That is so funny.  I can picture it, something like baggy elephant skin.  I don't think I've ever worn a size smaller than a Q.

One more thing I'll need to throw out.  I already had to down size my undies.  I'm not working right now, but I am actively looking.  I'd better try on a pair of hose before I have an interview.  I never considered that my supply of stockings wouldn't fit.

And if you go with the thigh highs - consider the smallest size of THOSE as well!

I bought mediums (at 5'5" and 130 when I bought them, that was CLEARLY in the medium range) at first, and they fell down and sagged at the ankles when the tops were rolled up well beyond my thighs.

Smalls are even a bit big on me at this point - I wonder what I'll wind up doing after the thighs are done and I'm even smaller??? Do they make stockings (not tights) for little girls???

In middle school I started the PAWS coalition in band class. People Against Wearing Shoes. Had to put htem back on for lunch right after though. Oh well.

I'd say I'm sorry you have to throw out your Q pantyhose, but you get to throw out your Q pantyhose.

:) Might I suggest thigh highs for your transitory state? or knee highs? or trousers? Good luck on your job hunt
