update and question
I lost 33 lbs pre-op, which really helped. The weight loss does slow down, the further down that you get, and as the months go by. As long as you are losing a lb/week, that is doing pretty good. Stalling is weeks with no weight loss at all. Before this week, I was at about 750 cal/day, but last week the dietician recommended that I increase my calories to 800-850.
I am weight training for 2 hrs/week, taking a pilates class, and working on cardio, so I am in the gym about 4-5 times/week. I also, weigh and measure my food and use an online tracker system (Sparkpeople). Those have been my keys to success. Maintenance is going to be the big challenge.
Our stats are pretty similar. My original goal was 120, but I revised it downward, for any bounce back.
