Diana - please don't be mad at me - I didn't go to zumba tonight like I PROMISED.  Life got in the way. 

I'm finding it kinda difficult to live out in the middle of the boonedocks and only have city conveniences a few days a week.  My glasses came in, had to pick up my prescription, go to Menards and get a new light fixture, cupboard, etc for the bathroom renovation... UGH!  Oh yea, and DS called me and told me the Jeep wouldn't start - battery dead so I had to meet him at Sears to buy a new one - AACCCKKK!!!  Tomorrow I get to drive for 4 hours in the crappy weather (freezing rain/snow/rain) for a follow up Dr's appt.  Have to drop a washer/dryer off at my parents' place.. but the shining light in the whole trip is getting to see my daughter and grandbaby!

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost

Oh sweetie not mad...life and I tango all the freakin' time...that is usually my exercise! LOL 
You will zumba soon...no worries. And it sounds like it is not too bad being there with the DD and grandbaby! 

I'm still trying to balance out going back to school and its been over 6 weeks now...I need to kick it into gear here...jeesh...lol

Walk walk walk around the lake tonight.  3.25+ miles. 

Tomorrow night I get to take an introductory 30 minute Pilates reformer class to prep for the 5 classes that I purchased.  I'm really excited to add something new to what I'm doing.  Pilates is definitely my exercise of choice,  after walking and hiking of course.

I signed up for a month of "Flow" yoga today.  Have any of you done that kind of yoga?  Not sure what I'm getting myself into.  :)

Leelee!! Sounds like a great walk! I have not done any yoga...would love to try though. I hear its great and underestimated by those who think 'eh, its not a workout'...lol 

Keep us posted on it...I may have to find something in my area :)

Diana, I decided to try new things as soon as my back was healing.  My PT was giving me pilates core exercises to do, so I decided to take a class.  I belong to Kaiser and I take both Pilates (mat) and yoga at Kaiser.  They do it in 8 week sessions in the behaviour health department. 

I'm in love with Pilates.  If I can only do one thing, it would definitely be pilates.  I think I will grow to like yoga as well, so I'm trying different styles.

I hit a victory over the weekend. I jogged for 5 minutes straight.  I've never done that before!

Nothing official for me today--feeling really run down, and this is my long day in school. I'll maybe do some body weight exercises at home, but I've done a lot of running around today, so I think that counts for something at least. :)
