Good Morning. Just call me Granny

lol  Son#1 and DIL are expecting again. Grand baby #2 is on the way and due sometime in Nov. This year is the Chinese year of the rabbit and considered a very good year to have babies born.

People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise. They are most compatible with those born in the years of the Sheep, Pig, and Dog.

Anyway, I thought I'd share my news this morning. Y'all have a great Tuesday.

All you folks having grand babies make me very jealous. My son is disabled and won't be having children and my daughter has sworn off children so I have to borrow friends babies and have all my furry ones.

Work here, then a vet visit to do shots and teeth for the horses, then friends coming over for dinner. I made the "resse" pie for desert with chocolate shell, peanut butter, SF FF chocolate pudding with PB choc protein. Should be good. The rest of the menue is Santa Fe chicken in the crock pot. 1c black beans, 1c corn, 1c rotel over chicken and cook. Easy and lets me get everything else done today. Oh, yeah, salad and bread. Brown rice for them to put the chicken on. No bread, rice for me but it is all good without that.

Well congrats to you Granny!
What wonderful news!

Things here have been nice and boring. Falling into a routine now after almost 8 months. Sitting here sipping my protein latte snuggled up in my robe. Planning for yoga and walking. Got my vits lined up for the day.

There is something new though, I am going to walk a half marathon in May with 2 other wls peeps I meet at a local support group meeting. I would have never dreamed about doing something like this even a few months ago!!!  I need to go shoe shopping today,  need some good walking shoes.

Have a great day all!

Congratulations.  I'm so jealous.  I keep hinting to my DS and DDIL that it's time, but they keep changing the subject.  I have three furry babies, oh, and I am caring for my grand-cat while the kids market their house.  Don't remember which signs each of is, but they're usually something like a boar, rooster, goat, or pig....   Not cute and cuddly like a rabbit.  They could call the child "Bunny" .

You are so lucky! There is nothing like being a grandma. I get to have my youngest tonight since her parents are going on their honeymoon. I haven't been able to spend a lot of time alone with her so it will be nice.
My son and his wife have been trying and having problems. I'm praying they are successfull soon. I so want a grandson. I love my girls but I need a boy baby to spoil.
Today I have to take my fur baby Princess to get fixed. Then we have the wedding. It will be very small. They are doing it on a budget. I'm sure it will be better then the first one. We kept calling that one the ghetto white trash wedding. It was on my ex in laws front lawn for some reason (they have a perfectly nice back yard) and they cooked up hot dogs for that.
This one will be performed by a non denominational lesbian. That was on the web site. I wasn't sure why they put that in there but I think it is because they specialize in same sex marriages. But it was a good price so they are going with it.
Hopefully there will be pictures.

Congratulations!  Babies are just soooo irresistable - gotta love 'em to pieces.  It's going to be a few years yet before I can start hoping for grandbabies - but I can't wait!!
