Surgery set

My dr's nurse called back, they will remove my gall bladder on April 4th. Apparently he thought it was bad enough to remove and set me for the first available time slot.
If it gets too bad before then, i am headed to the ER, until then, thanks to Heather. I am going to watch what I eat carefully and pray it makes it that long...

I am very sorry you have to go through surgery again but I am thrilled you know what has been going on.  It will be great to get it gone and have it over with.

When I had mine out was when I had lost so much weight with WW and it is pretty common for 40ish yr old women, and high weight loss folks to have gall bladder issues.  The only good thing about it then was that it helped me reach goal which I would have probably never done without surgery.  And I guess that is was already out when I lost weight this time.

Eat carefully and know you don't have much longer.

Stacey,
I'm so glad they figured it out and are going to take it out.  You will feel so much better once they remove it.

I had to wait a few weeks and  then went on travel when I had my gallbladder issues diagnosed.  I just was very careful of what I ate - no fatty/greasy foods (which is easier for RNY folks then it was for me then).

Glad they figured it out.  I also found when I had an "attack", I applied a heating pad to my back and it seemed to help relax the duct and the stone would fall back in.
