I didn't get the opportunity to do things like this when I was young so for the last 30 years I have enjoyed making my 3 DD's and now my 4 DGD's smile.  I can't wait for our one and only boy (DGS) to start doing sports so we can relive some of our high school years of my DH playing sports.  My DH is going to be so disappointed if he doesn't want to play football or basketball.

I had my taste of spinach salad the other day and it was so good!

Good Menu!!

Roz, that sounds like so much fun.  I look forward to doing things like that with my DGD's.  I took off today to take DGD#2 to the doctor for her 2 year check-up.  They are both growing so fast!!  DH came and went with us and we had a great morning.  She is sitting in  my lap now while I type.  She is usually not this still and I'm enjoying it.

Your DGD's will love it.  Our 3 yr. old was just in awe.  She wore a tinker bell costume from the Disney store and she was so cute.  The 5 yr. old didn't want to go but boy did she change her mind the moment we got there.  We even carried her Belle dress in because we knew once she got there she would want to put it on and we were definitely right.

That's great that your DD will let you do that.  I'm allowed to go to the appointments but I don't think I've ever taken them.  You have to take advantage of every second they will let you hold them because the time goes so fast.  Does she play games on the computer yet?  Ours can work the mouse and get around better than I can.

Good Menu!

DD doesn't usually let us take her to the well check ups, but she is out of leave at work and didn't want to do a day without pay.

DGD#2 was so sweet today - she is usually so busy that she doesn't have time to sit and let you hold her.

We are planning a family trip to Disney World when they get closer to 5 or 6 years old.

Hi Roz!  Sounds like you had a great time - I can't wait for those days.

I've had a very grazy day so far.  I'm working from home... too easy to be tempted. I should have had another protein drink instead of the grazing.... I've even drank 33 oz of my crystal lite already...

B - 1 protein coffee and a regular coffee
L - sausage/egg/cheese wrap in a wheat tortilla
S - 6 wheat crackers
S - Atkins bar
S - 1 piece of cut up sausage (yuk)
S - 5 olives
D - tenderloin and veggies

Vits:  yes
water:  yes

Isn't it funny though how we graze the foods we pick to graze on are so much better than when we used to graze.   Your menu doesn't look to bad for a grazing day.

LOL - you're so right!  Just seems cause I'm eating all the time, its bad.

I found my initial surgery book when I was moving.  My plan was NOT to eat any snacks.  Only 3 meals a day. Guess I didn't read (or remember) that part.  LOL.  I've always been told I've got selective memory....

Dinner tonight was venison tenderloin - OMG it was SO good.  Tom is such a great cook.  Got lucky again!  Sauteed it up with some mushrooms, onions, yellow peppers - yum... lots of good seasonings too.  I actually got chastised for getting in the way in the kitchen!!

Put my favorite size 4 jeans on today - tight... too tight...  I know its 7 lbs - but I've GOT to get it off NOW....  technically I should be in a 6 now...

Crazy day for me because I started it with a fast to get labs done then went straight to a meeting.  So the menu has been weird.  I did take advantage of one of Ava's tricks and stop at the grocery to ask for 2 oz of deli roast beef since I was going to miss more meals than I planned for.

decaf protein coffee  26g
hamburger, no bread, cauliflower  16g
steak, broccali  25g
