I'M APPROVED!
Thanks for the links! I started buying things when I found out that I didn't have requirements other than weight for insurance, so I'm pretty well set so far. I need to get another camelbak bottle, but I'm pretty well set for tools.
Now protein on the other hand is completely different. I have done nothing for this, because I have read all the posts about your tastes changing after surgery. I don't want to buy a bunch and then hate it after. I'm still not sure what to do about this. What would you recommend? Also, which samples should I get? There are so many!

weeeelllll..... that i think is a personal choice.
I followed the surgeon's office suggestion on sugar content, fat content, and protein content first.
Then I picked some that sounded like they'd be good in coffee, others that might be good in brewed iced tea, and others that I might drink with crystal light.
Several Syntrax Nectar flavors, including roadside lemonade, twisted cherry, and cranrazz. I put them in brewed tea or with a bit of crystal light. There was a caramel latte one i found too heavy on my sleeve and realized it has added fiber-- didnt work for me
My favorite in coffee is the vitalady combo, which she mixes two different brands to get. Very good for my tastes.
my other favorie is the roadside lemonade as it works in tea, hot and cold, and in various crystal light products. At first i couldn't drink crystal light as it didn't sit well, but it's ok now in small doses.
good luck in finding what works for you.

Looked back on my calendar and I did the first one on a Thurs and we started the Optifast on Sat of that week. After that, our weekly meetings were Tues at 4. They could have changed but that was last fall.
Congrats on your approval.
