Hi Christina,

I get all my tilapia recipes from sparkrecipes.com...you can create your own cookbooks and add recipes to them...then you can rate them and type in notes if you made any changes. All recipes have nutrient breakdown.

I use the site almost everyday, it is great!

Have you looked at Penzey's spice company at  www.penzeys.com
I love their spices on many things, but they are what made me able to cook fish well.

1. Oil both sides of most any fish filet with grapeseed oil.
2. Liberally pat any of the following Penzey's spices on the filet: Fox Point Seasoning, Jerk Chicken and Fish, Old World Seasoning, Sandwich Sprinke, or Chesapeake Bay Seasoning.
3. Place fillet in a very hot skillet with a bit of grapeseed oil already in it.  Cook 3-4 minutes on each side depending on thickness.

If you can'****ch the skillet for that long, do the same spices and oil with the fish in a baking dish uncovered in a 375-400 degree oven for 12-15 minutes .

You can even do the same thing on a grill, just wrap those puppies in aluminum foil.

OMG I just tried Tilapia for the first time last week and I fell head over heals for it! Great posting Chris cause all I tried was the frozen Gorton's stuff already seasoned!!  I cant wait to try more!

try to put some lemon juice on fish you find to "fishy" ;) it does help.

try to get some fresh cod fi****'s awesome and not super fishy when baked on aluminum paper with olive oil, lemon juice and some onions for the taste. I used to put white wine on it, but am abstaining because I am recently post-op.

thanks for the post, I got a lot of tilapia on the freezer but been lazy to cook it. I did it the other day baked on aluminum pouch with olive oil, lemon juice and rosemary which I love. was pretty yummi.
