Great post-op appointment

I had my 3 month, which turned out to be almost 4 month, followup appointment with my nutritionist and nurse.  They are both very happy with my progress and said I'm ahead of the curve.  Yahoo.  My labs look great, my liver enzymes are in the very normal range and the nurse said my skin was looking good.  She doesn't think I'll have much sag.  Except all those wrinkles in my face!  She also told me to tell my hairdresser bravo for my new haircut.

Anyway, had a great lunch with my son, who hadn't seen me for a few months, so he was pleasantly surprised.  I told both my nutritionist and nurse how supportive this forum is, so thank you sincerely for being here.

My shoes are too big so I bought a new pair of Asic gels so I can start serious walking.

I'll post a new picture when I figure out how to do it!

Hail Sue, the "ahead of the curve" LW Goddess.

If you have a son, you earned those wrinkles.  (laugh)
Is that your new 'do or your old 'do in the photo?

My picture is over two years old so it's an old 'do.  I need to update one of these days.

And.........my nut told me to start eating a piece of toast in the morning with my yogurt to see if it could get my hunger better controlled.  I did, and it worked.  She said I could start adding brown rice and wheat pasta I think I'll pass on the pasta.  I toasted one of those sandwich thins, just one piece with peanut butter.  pretty yummy.

I ordered some of that protein bread from nutri-bread.com and it's in the freezer for when I'm ready for it.  I hear it's yummy toasted w/nut butter and has good protein #'s
