Happy Friday to all. To wrap up some fitness fun tips for cardio, I found these online...
3. Drink water before, during and after exercise. Make sure you drink 8-10 glasses of water every day.
4. Dress appropriately for the heat and cold.
5. To prevent injuries, use safety equipment such as helmets for biking. If you are not sure what equipment you need, check the library or the Internet for information.
6. Endurance activities should not make you breathe so hard that you can't talk. And they and should not cause dizziness or chest pain.
7. If you experience dizziness, chest pain or have difficulty talking during exercise, you are working beyond your level. Slow down until you feel better, and consult with your health care provider.
Most of these may be well known or seem like common sense but we should never overlook the basics, right?

DH is cutting down several trees today, and I'm going to pull branches that are too small to burn into the woods. That's always a workout.

YESSSS to stretching AFTER your workout!!! SO many people try to stretch before their muscles are warmed up and then hurt themselves! The best thing to do before working out is just move around a little, jumping jacks, leg swings, rotate your joints. This will get the blood flowing and help loosen you up. Save the stretching for when you are hot and sweaty! :D
Anyway. I'm gonna try to make it to TKD tonight. I'm super exhausted and my legs are kind of crampy, though, so we'll see.

no curves yesterday but I did roll around on the floor some. Actually some floor exercises. I was doing some to strenghen my core when my siadica (sp) started and the chrio had me stop. But I feel strong enough to do a little again.
