Happy/Disappointed too
Had my appointment, for my B/A. And eyes yesterday.
Well, disappointed to hear I also need a B/L. Needless to say since I have to have both, and the surgery is longer, he won't do my eyes at the same time. Also it was a big hit to the pocket book. The amount we had figured out for the B/A and eyes is now just for the B/A and B/L. So the eyes will continue to look tired! Guess on a happy note, when people look at me...just maybe they will see how nice the newbies look and they won't notice how tired I look! Always looking on the up side of things! My surgery date is 3/11.
Keep me in your thoughts...I will let you know how it all turns out! Thanks for all the support!

I had always thought that the rule of thumb was to wait 1 year after maintaining weight loss to begin checking out plastic surgery. I am hopeful that things might shift and shrink up a bit. One year out from surgery and I'm just about at goal, so I was thinking that over this next year I might notice a change (for the better).
Maybe you will notice a little natural tightening in the eyes after a few months. Could save you some $$!
Best of luck with the other surgery. I'm sporting a 34A right now and I don't think those are going to "fill in" on their own. LOL

No guide lines were given for me. I do agree things will shift with luck for the better...I don't think my 34 smaller than a A"s will fill in either! I wish on the eyes, but it wasn't just the weight loss, mine have been horrible forever...now just a little more dark..but one step at a time. I can't worry about it, just have to move on.
My surgeon said 6 months maintaining. I have found though that you will just keep redistributing anyway. No, it wasn't going to take away my saggy belly or fill in my saggy bewbies, but I've found my thighs aren't as bad now (of course I've put on 5 lbs and guess where it all went).

DMAE tightens skin dramatically ! Its available from REVIVA labs in any health food store as a n around -the eye serum and is super effective for correcting droopy thin skin . Costs 19.99 .
I would wash with a2% salycilic acid containing acne wash ( neutrogena ) first to help accelerate cell turnover ,then put this on before I went to bed . In the morning - collagen line filler from l'oreal and eye serum ( which contains 15 spf sunscreen) ....also MORE sunscreen - to thicken ,protect and promote collagen production.
Try this for a month - I bet it helps Us models ALL have a CLOSET full of just skin stuff - trust me we talk about these things all the time and WE KNOW what works for what ....
