(I was wanted this all to happen 4 years ago but didn't do it) So start in Jan till today...I will have my WLS March 17th 2011 at 11 am. I have to be there 2 hours before hand. Nothing to eat or drink after midnight on Wednesday. My pre admission testing is blood work and an EKG. I have to do a class then I am ready to go for surgery. I can't believe its this close. I was expecting it to be 4-6 weeks out.
You all have to been so great. Very supportive!
I will update as I go.

That is quick. Read, read, read. Find out all you can. Only one class before is kind of scary for me since I had to do so many, 12.
Go in as prepared as possible and you will do great. Congrats on the date, you will be on the loser's bench soon.

Price, I have been reading for 4 years lol...I did meet with the nut, shrink and the other guy. I forget what they call him. But I have gotten SOOOO much info just off of this site. The last class that I have to do will be about 2 hours long. They will go over what I need to do before surgery and right after surgery. Along with things I need to have at my home for when I return. I feel like I am about as ready as they come. I don't think I know everything there is to know. But I sure do hope I know enough as of now. I know I will have a ton of questions after the surgery. But for now just 1 day at a time :)

I certainly didn't mean to offend, I just see so many folks, not usually light weights, but on this board whose Drs don't do a good job instructing them and they are just lost. I don't want that to happen to anyone.
My group probably over trained those of us who were going to study it all by themselves but the right amount for those who just went to classes. Anyway, even with all the prep, I have had and still have my share of questions. And you are in the right place to get good, positive answers.
Glad you feel prepared. You will do great.
