Goodwill Outlet

A couple of times this month I have gone to the Goodwill Outlet with a friend. This place is so cool, kind of disgusting, and fun!

If you purchase over 25 lbs of clothing (easy to do with a couple of people), you pay $0.89 per pound. You can always find decent brands and clothes that are in excellent condition. This time, I got:

1 pair Calvin Klein jeans
1 pair Nike workout pants
2 pair workout yoga pants
1 workout shirt
3 sweaters (I think JCP brand and some other brands)
1 cute denim jacket
1 black denim jacket
1 zip up work sweater
3 work shirts
3 purses (adorable and pretty new looking)
1 black down St. John's Bay jacket
1 perfect fitting Wonder Bra
And a handful of other things that didn't fit quite right (probably 8 other items)

For all of this, I paid $18. I'm not a big fashionista, but when i'm changing sizes all the time, I have found this is an awesome way to shop. It's kind of a thrill to find such bargains too! Oh, and lately I've been buying size 8's on the bottom and Medium on the top! Yay!

I love the good will outlet. I'm going to shop there after I have my WLS. There is no point in buying brand new when I'm still going to be losing. But that is wonderful you got all of that name brand stuff there. You can find so much there you just have to be willing to look

We have lots of goodwill stores but no outlet.  I did some shopping yesterday too at a local thrift store that supports meals on wheels.  All adult clothes were 1/2 price so I came home with 1 pair jeans, 5 name brand tees with 3/4 lengh sleeve, and 2 fleece tops for $16.  The jeans are 10s and still too small but the tees and fleece are all smalls and can be worn now and later.  Go Thrift stores.

I have too much clothes and wish that there were friends to take them off my hands..
I am serious but I have saved all my clothing from a size 8Petite to 18W.. at this time, as I outgrow the clothing I'm taking them straight to the Salvation Army ..One so that I don't have them anymore and Two to make more room for more clothes LATER though..
I wish there was a Goodwill Outlet near me!!

Wow what a great deal you got!!  Our Goodwill closed.  I used to go in there some and got a few things, but it was not like the larger towns.

WOW what a load!  That is great shopping!  We have small stores popping up all over in Grocery store strip mall areas.  Very fun to dig in.  I especially like the ones in the rich areas of town!

I hear ya on the fashionista comment --- I like to shop but have been focused on my daughter (5 yr old) these past 5 years... she is the fashionista and I tell everyone I'm going to need a personal shopper / stylist to keep up in the years to come!
