Fitness Fun - March 2

Wednesday workout:  30 minute elliptical, 120 situps, 5 girly pushups, and upper body weights.  I've increased my reps to 15 and I'm doing 3 sets while watching What Not to Wear (a new episode that I recorded last night).  I'm getting bored with the weights, but they are working and they're not getting easy, so I'm going to stick with it for a bit longer before I seek out something different.

I love that show...

Have you tried to do intervals with the weights? or a different combo...stacking (I think that's what it is called??) What about resistance bands??

It's beautiful outside today. I've only gotten one walk and 20 push ups in this morning but I'm switching shoes so I can walk more comfortably this afternoon.

Awesome!! Another storm is passing through today so it is spotty with sunshine but still cold...bring on the warmth!!! :)

Planning to walk after work tonight - 45 min.  It's in the 70's here and sunny so beutiful night to walk.  Then it's on to cleaning my kitchen and using the shark on the tile floors.  -- housework should account for something!!!!!!!!!!

Hey there,
Been sick. :(

Got back in the saddle a bit today and went to spin class. Made it through about 40 minutes of it. I plan to run tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday to get caught up! Hopefully this cough stays away.

 it was beautiful today  !  did some pullups   and put the greenhouse up  .  Also planted an edging of  strawberries .  

I'm feeling very weird  with this low carby  diet  ..a bit draggy especially in the afternoon  .   Normally I'd have a  protein coffee and  try to run  .. but  I don't even feel like forcing myself to it ..like it wouldn't be fun.   

Maybe that hot bath is calling  and tomorrow's  another day -  I DID get up at two AM.

Hi Diana,
I'm glad you decided to keep posting this.  I know I haven't been very faithful to exercise during the winter, but hopefully we will get back into it since it is getting spring time here.

DH and I walked the nature trail at the Rec. Department today.  Someone told us it was 4 miles, but I think it is a little over 3 because it only took us around 45 minutes, but we did it at a faster pace.  It would be a great walk, but it is in the woods and I was not too comfortable in the middle of the woods and would never walk it by myself.

Took a spin class today at lunch  19 miles & 350 calories (supposedly)  I think I will wear my gofit on Friday so I can compare.
