Now i KNOW why everyone is addicted to this way of eating lol. I havent even remotely gone number 2 ( for the first time in YEARS by the way my bowels aren't working regularly and often grrrr ) .... but I got on the scale and wow I saw numbers way lower than I've seen in many months ... . Are they REAL ? or are the just dehydrated DIET numbers is my question ? I averaged them out and I'm going with a conservative one-lb loss which is still amazing considering how little actual exercise I've done ( well a little long-overdue walking ) ....but even THAT should by all rights have made me HEAVIER due to glycogen and water entering my muscles.... hmm...
In any case some of the numbers I saw on my scale were shockingly low and I can really see how a person can get addicted to that lol.
I'm really missing alcohol ! I'm really missing tasty , saucy food !!! ( I have a STRONG feeling just about any flour or cornstarch based sauce of mine is way over the top carb wise ) . A real concern is that proteiny- snacks like egg whites and broccoli puree will make a gas problem that will not be socially acceptable either in the jewelry district nor in the closed- car traveling necessary for my construction project...
Here's another question.... if I eat a bagel after all this ... do all the lbs magically reappear ? In other words is the weight loss totally low carb lifestyle dependent ? Because Seaview mentioned gaining 2-3 lbs when she started eating fat free grains and beans ....
ANOTHER Thing I'm REALLY Seeing with low carb is enviable definition in my arms ; ) the bloat is going away . Unfortunately I kind of feel my brain cells and willingness to work hard and exercise may be going away along with it .... do these come back ?

No idea about all the particulars you're experiencing but do stay hydrated as you possibly can. You might have to resort to some medicinal help for constipation...don't let it go on too long. You might want to try probiotics to address any gas issues but you can also use gas as a deterrent to NOT eat those kinds of veggies and grains. Nothing wrong with a great green salad though.

You know ... I just took my shirt off to take a shower ..and looked at my upper body which IS my perennial issue ( my legs are always good) . Well , even with these scarce few days of imperfect lower-carb eating .... my definition is SO MUCH BETTER !!!
I mean .. the amazing thing is ..I HAVENT BEEN RUNNING !! so its NOT THAT !!
but i would honestly put on a bikini and go trot on a beach right now .... no problem ...no shame
All these last two years I HONESTLY thought U GRRLS just wanted to take my BIRTHDAY CAKE AWAY LOL !! and my pie ..and my fat free fruit cobblers .. and my strudels .. and my fat free cookies ..
etc etc.....
well ... maybe NOT ....maybe U really WERE trying to HELP this fat GRRL
