Good morning Roz.

i did alright yesterday. pretty much stayed on track and consumed under 1100 calories. I went through a RMR evaluation @ surgeon's office which is a Resting Metabolic Rate test that takes the oxygen and co2?? levels expended during rest (had to breath in and out through my mouth using a tube and nose pinched). The test is 10 min long and gives a 'baseline' of how many calories I would need/burn in 24hrs at complete rest. So, my baseline is 1336. In order to lose, there must be a deficit. So at least I know what "maintenance" calorie intake is...right? This might be why I am in a stall...lol

Long day today so I brought all except my dinner but know where I am going to get dinner...

B - biscotti (3g & 150 cal)
S - protein waffles (20g & 174 cal)
S - protein coffee (24g & 114 cal)
L - turkey chili and small salad (g & cal)
S - cottage cheese (13g & 90 cal) topped w/blueberries
S - protein bar (20g & 200 cal)
D - salad w/shredded chicken & salsa (g & cal)

protein: 80g w/o lunch & dinner totals
calories:  728 w/o lunch & dinner totals
h2o: 96oz is goal....will start after coffee
vits: on track
miles: none today as in school tonight right after work

Have a great day everyone!

Good evening, I guess late is better than never. I just got back to the hotel in chilly but beautiful ME. My colleague and I ate Chinese for dinner. I hardly ate (a couple of bites of a chicken lettuce wrap and a 1/2 of a little shrimp). I am now spending my evening throwing up - such fun. On a happier note, I love my mini-blender!!!

B- protein drink w strawberries (40 g)
S- Nonfat decaf latte (12 g)
L- chili, sweet potato, salad (10 g)
S- babybell and a few little crackers (6 g)
D- Chinese (see above - probably kept 5g)

I doubt I can make up the protein tonight. I still cannot keep liquid down. Yes, I am feeling a little sorry for myself. My outlook will improve greatly after I sleep tonight and wake up to get ready to go home.

proetin tea

protein coffee

tilapia with fatfreee brown sauce and peas

protein cofffee with frangeloco ( a bit )

orange /bulbous fennel . arugula /jerusalem artichoke salad

chicken breast marinated in satay ( peanut ) with wine ( in the marinade , not in me )

yucky empty jello lemon pudding - like a serving and a half ( 9 grams carbs)
snack -- some full-fat mozzarell

some low fat almond pepperjack

a few fat free chocolate chips out of choclate chip cokies i baked forthe landlord ( leass than a teaspoons worth )

fig

personally I dont feel I am ever going to lose any weight this way because there is no way my carb totals will be low enough .

I also think the calories are pretty high .... there is just TOO much protein and too little sources of bone sparing green leafy vegetables for instance ....ok i COULD make spinach puree or broccoli puree or hardboiled eggs ... we'll see how I weigh tomorrow . Right now I'm pretty discouraged . I miss enjoying my food !

Hi Roz,
Again, just want to remind you all to please pray for me during this weekend..I so want to not be over-indulging and killing off the good work that I have been doing.  I will be posting my foods after I get back from the convention..just to keep me responsible!! But probably today may be the last time I post until Tuesday.,

Here is what I had yesterday.  I'm still feeling flue like symptoms and was very queezy after eating the yogurt in the evening..but I wanted to up the protein. Today I have haddock and that will be good .
