wow ! I had no IDEA i had OPTIONS that I wasn't even CONSIDERING when I ran out of habit to stuff something in my mouth out of boredom or to automatically improve my mood ......
now , suddenly I have block of TIME after dinner I can fill with 1 ) an 8:00 hot yoga class
2 ) a relaxing de-toxing hot bath and reading
3) maybe even drawing or a run
4) I can get a jump on my paperwork
5) I can pamper my plants
6) I can actually get enough rest
HEL-LO

Sounds like some great possibilities. Although I do sometimes do paperwork, especially when I have billing to do, I frequently do the hot bath or go to bed early. I love my sleep.

You're right. Eating is such a waste of time. I sometimes get bored at work and that is when I really want to graze and fill my time with eating. II have to stick around my office otherwise I would go for a walk. I've tried to just log into this website when that happens. Even though I can't post, I can come here and get encouragement and help from other's posts.
At home, I've started walking right after work and started knitting a baby blanket and a afghan for my toddler grandson to use when he comes in April. The yarn was expensive, so I don't even try to have a snack around and it keeps my hands busy. LOL. It's always going to be a battle with myself--a battle I AM going to WIN.

Yea! Good for you!
I stayed busy last night cleaning and sorting my stuff in the garage - deciding what was going to storage, what was staying at the house, then trying to decide where to put what was staying...
Tonight I have errands after work, getting my nails done, then I HAVE to get my filing done.
Busy is the key!
