Day 2 of 14 Pre-op Diet
So far it has not been too bad. I am on a full liquid diet. Supper time has been the hardest since everyone around me is stuffing their faces but I have not cheated at all. I have been getting pretty frustrated trying to find a protein drink that I can tolerate. I have tried 3 so far. The Chocolate Unjury has been the most tolerable so far. I got a few more protein drinks/samples today so I hope that I can find one that doesn't make me want to throw up. LOL

Believe me I would be out walking all over the place if it wasn't for all the snow and ice outside. LOL You are lucky to not break your neck just trying to walk to your vehicle. Plus I don't want my family to feel like they have to hide their food from me or that they cant eat around me. I want to try and keep things as normal as possible. I am just itching to take nice walks soon as this snow goes away. Heres to an eary spring.
I was lucky that, although I had a 4 week diet, I could have one small food meal a day so I did that at supper and just added a starch for DH and DS. Full liquid would have been very hard. I think everyone would have had to eat soup every night.

I'm 2 years out and Chocolate Unjury is the only one I've liked so far. I now mix it in 1/4 cup milk and a little hot coffee then add the rest of my coffee as I continue to stir. If you're not a coffee drinker, try warming it just a little in the microwave. It tastes like hot chocolate. You can't get it too hot or it will get lumpy and that is really gross.
