The power at home came on just as I was getting ready to leave for my DD's.  I had everything I needed to get ready packed.  I'm so glad it came back on before I left.  This afternoon it was off at work for about 2 hours.  We even had to use a flash light to go to the bathroom.

Love the menu!!!

Sorry about the lack of power.  I used to live in a neighborhood of older homes; every time the wind blew, our power would go out.  We used our fireplace a lot.  We also had battery powered headlamps to deal with the night time outages and eventually went and bought a generator.  I was so happy to move.  Goodbye Alabama!

So we made it to 9:30 last nigh****ching the Oscars.  I was underwhelmed.  But the Rueben Ramekins I made were a big hit.  It's a great recipe on Bariatric Foodie.  Yum, will make them again.

Today is more mundane:

B:  Protein Coffee
L:  2.5 oz canned salmon (increasing by .25 oz per week, in order to increase my satiety and find a balance point)
.33 cup canned green beans -no sodium, nice and soft, the dogs think they're greenies
S:  Nectar Carribean Cooler Protein w. V8 diet spash
D:  2.75 turkey meatballs, .25 cup low sugar marinara sauce, .25 cup edamame, 1 sf fudgesicle

Totals: 717 cals, 23 fat, 36 carbs, 99 protein

Been flirting with the 200 pound milestone.  If I stand on the scale with most of my weight on my left foot, the scale reads 199.8, otherwise, an even 200.  Hope to officially arrive in onederland some time this week.

Miles today:  1.71 on treadmill set on HILLS.  OMG I was huffing puffing and sweating.  Then did 120 situps and my upper body weights.  Tried a few puny girl pushups.  Got to 3 then collapsed.  I'm going to try them on my weight days.

I do the Ruben things all the time.  I love them and it give me good portion control and a quick meal.  I just stick it in the microwave instead of heating up the oven.

Hate it when that happens.

One of my treats for myself is to have a cleaning lady come occasionally.  I can right it off since the office is here so it isn't that bad a deal.  Well, I have a very clean house, yahoo.  I love a clean house, just not enought to clean it.

Good for you!!!!

My DD and family have been living here for 2 years on the 25th and when they move into their new house I'm going to hire a painter, carpet cleaner, and someone to help me clean. It never bothered me when my girls were growing up but now that I'm older I wish I could keep it clean for a single day. They went away for the weekend and I was so excited about getting things organized and after the first couple of hours.......   They just have to much stuff and not enough room to put it all..LOL

My oldest DD used the book "the house that cleans itself" and got everything organized and now she has a cleaning lady.  It has made such a difference in her life.

Awesome totals!!!!!

I'd rather have snow over Ice.  There just isn't anything you can do about an ice storm.

Good Menu!

Ava, stick it all in myfitnesspal .com and you'll see your carbs for the day.  You look a lot lower carb that in the past.  I'd say you're making big changes and if I remember correctly, you're seeing it on the scale too!

Dump the beer and croissant (wait until you go to France for them) and you'd definitely be lower carb.  You will be surprised at how many carbs are in an apple.  One apple eats up my daily allotment.
