Even half - a***ed low carbing works thank God  because  some of us are just  chronically  ten crumbs short of the proverbial  loaf  ...probably in my case  because  I BIT  into it lol ....

So honestly  my 126 isn't really 126 at all .. the doctor s scale says a full ten lbs different ....  but its a START .  Late  last night when i came home after having  cold cuts  ( turkey  and fat free cheese )  I really wasnt hungry so I nibbled on the leftover salad rather than making my usual popcorn.... YAY !

And of course  this morning ...  there isn't a single thing I don't regret  not eating  .

I really  remembered Lee's  wise words that I  read as I was  running out of the house  ... about  the choice we have to make between the party in our mouth  or enjoying  the way our bodies look and feel just a little lighter ...
today I want to be  lighter .

Thanks Guys  .. I'm always so astonished  that  when i start whining U don't kick me to the curb  but are so amazingly supportive, creative and helpful ...

How did I deserve  such WONDERFUL friends ? (((((()))))) huge hugs

Yea!  I'm back on track today - cutting out snacks and my adult beverages.  I'm also starting zumba back up tomorrow - Tues and Thurs.

I need to get these 5-7 lbs off.  It's reasonable and doable.  Tom and I have an agreement we'll each lose 5% of our body weight (which is 5 lbs for me and 15 for him) before we go on vacation in April.  He's not off to a very good start, and I've lost 2 of mine, even with my TOM.

Maintenance is HARD.  Its finding what works and what doesn't - and when it doesn't what works to get it off!!

I too loved Lee's wise words.  I read them several times myself.

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months.

I need to print out and post Lee's words somewhere and think about them everytime I want to have that party in my mouth!!

The maintenance part of this is so much harder than the losing part.  I would still like to drop a few more pounds for some bounce back because I only have 2-3 pounds to play with now.

Gotta get back to the exercise part.  I know that will help me so much.

Ava do you still do all that exercise you used to do?  I know it is probably impossible during the winter months you just had.  I always enjoy reading your posts.
