To all of you counting NET carbs, read this: Low-Carbohydrate Food Facts and Fallacies

You need to be counting them as FULL carbs not net carbs.

I have always counted full carbs.  I follow the atkins 1972 plan which was before the invention of net carbs.

Many people count net carbs instead of full carbs.

Take the carb count and subtract fiber and sugar alcohols and you get = net carbs.

I figure a carb is a carb and playing around with numbers etc got me to 249 pounds so now I just read the package and whatever the carb count is, I count it.  I can't afford to let my brain loose in that realm of distortion anymore.

It's hard to do super low fat and super low carb, because alot of times when something is made fat free it is because the fat is replaced with carbs. You have to do what works for you. For me, I don't look at fat, but I watch the carbs. That isn't to say I eat high fat. I eat moderate fat and try to make the fat healthy forms, and I eat low carb and try to make the carbs complex and eaten with protien. That seems to work for me. BTW, PB2 is a powdered peanutbutter that you reconstitute with water (or I use sf honey) that has the fat taken out and is Great. It is about 45 calories for a serving instead of 200. I also made peanut sauce for a stir fry with it and added it to chocolate protien shakes. I really love it. I hate the Davinici sf peanutbutter syrup (although I adore all of the other ones). And the fat in regular peanutbutter makes me sick now. So I am now a happy girl eating PB2 on toasted protien bread and drinking chocolate peanutbutter drinks.

Thanks !  I Have heard of that  .. defatted PB ....  I actually brought some spread like that   in Palm beach when i went to visit my Parents ... wow  it was GOOD  !   dry , but totally peanut -butery otherwise  .

I wonder what sugar free  Honey  is made out of ...     almost  sounds like a contradiction doesn't it ?  Im amazed its GOOD  ! Where  do U buy it ?  Is it Ok for diabetics to sweeten  with ?

Sugar free honey is made from a sugar alcohol and that can cause gas issues. It has 6 grams of carbs. Real honey only has 15. As a diabetic, I'll stick to the real stuff and just use less of it. Sugar alcohols and I do not get along.
