Besides it being Friday.....it's the last Friday in February...YEAH   Spring is just around the corner!!!  We had a little touch of it in Atlanta last weekend which just makes me want it more.  It is was so nice to see bright colored flowers all around.  Atlanta is really a beautiful town with a LOT of interesting people.

I went to the Dr. and he is sending me for a gall bladder sonar in March.  Tummy is still tender and I still fear eating anything spicy.  I miss my Wendy's chili...

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.
  It's very important until you reach Goal to figure out your Calories, Fats, Carbs, and Proteins so that you know what your body needs to lose and then to maintain!!!!

I hope your gall bladder turns out okay.  I missed posting my meals this week I need to get back on that.  My greek yogurt breakfast isn't satisfying my hunger for very long, and I think it's because it's a slider food.  I'm going to start doing what you do and incorporate more protein drinks in my day.  We have an artic front headed our way and I'm definately ready for spring too.

 2 protein coffees  with remainder of ciabatta  with apple butter ( ooh was i  SICK ) 

around  11:30  - brunch scrambled  eggs with fresh mushrooms  , fresh scallions , largely egg white  organic eggs ( 5 jumbo  whites 2 jumbo yolks )  , butter buds , fatfree  milk  , and 3 slices  fat free cheddar cheese  fortwo people  

yum! 

one fat free  broccoli knish 

toast with  ( you guessed it -  cherry butter -  yep I NEVER learn )

eggplant  / ginger  . garlic/  scalions / mushrooms  stir fry with  baby caulibroc heads   yum!

i cannot wait for purees.  Found some great vegetable puree recipes that I can hide unflavored protein in.

Hi Roz!  Been packing and moving.  Bought a new washer and dryer today... that was fun.. NOT! LOL.

L - McD's angus wrap deluxe, 8 french fries and a SF vanilla latte (I order SF.. not so sure it was)

Vits:  not yet.  I know I threw them somewhere...

Hope your tummy feels better.  If it happens again, go to the ER.  That's what I had to do and was diagnosed there.

Sorry about the tummy Roz.  Glad you liked Atlanta.  It's a nice place to visit, but I didn't like living there.  Too much traffic.

B:  Protein Coffee
L:  1/2 cup refried beans, 4 T salsa, 1 oz reduced fat cheese (cheddar, colby mix)
S:  1/2 pure protein bar (I was out shopping and became starved)
Bought the cutest pair of wedge sandals.  Won't buy clothes, due to shrinking sizes.
D:  Chicken Tikka Marsala- I love Indian food
S:  Chewy D and Biotin, 1/2 cup sf pudding to take my bedtime pill

Totals 666 cals, 11 fat, 60 carb, 79 protein

Looking at this, I'd like to boost my protein some more.  I might add some ricotta cheese to tonight's chicken tikka, or have the other half of the pure protein bar.  Don't feel like a shake. 

Miles:  Training day 7 on my couch to 5K program, jogged 1.5 miles then walked back.  It's not getting any easier.

Hi, Roz. I am back home, and feeling a little stressed and blue due to a combination of work, my DB's shenanigans, and the prospect of yet another work trip on Monday (week 4 of non-stop travel). I just have to remember the sensation of the warm sunshine and visualize the lush green of FL for a couple more days.

Also, I did not gain or lose this week. Pretty good for a vacation but kind of a letdown after all that walking and swimming.

I haven't been tracking as well since my Sleevie got so annoyed last week, so I'm back to it today.

Today's eats:

2 strips bacon
1 egg
2 oz cream cheese
ribeye steak
green beans

Calories - 591
Protein - 53
Total Carbs - 9

I had no idea I was so low on protein because I just put it into myfitnesspal at bedtime.  Will do better tomorrow.

Fluids and Vites ok.
Exercise:  yoga class, 3.25 mile walk, 30 minutes on treadmill doing Week 1 of the Couch to 5K - doing my first runs since October back injury.  Weight machines followed by a good stretch.  Sore muscles tonight.
