6 mo check up and I hate the Doctors scale
I with everyone else..my scale at home is also about 4 pounds less than the doctors AND my scale at the gym.. I tend to now play with my scale at home..add 5 pounds and weigh myself only in the AM..this way I'm not that surprised when I go tto the doctor.
My doctor called me with my results and sent them tomy doctor..

I always found that BC pills made me gain a little. Just a note, after RNY, BC pills are not as effective as they were before. Yes, they still work somewhat and many people will swear that there is no difference, but they don't get into your system the same way as before, and they are not as effective, just like they aren't as effective while you are taking an antibiotic with them. My doctor has his patients meet with a phamacologist prior to surgery which gave me alot of information that many people aren't aware of. So useing something other than pills may help more than your wieght. I am using a patch, which made me gain a little because of the hormones, just like the pill and nuvaring did, but it is a more effective route for the hormones to properly get into my body, so at least I'm less likely to get pregnant. Good for you on the walking. I hope your ultrasound goes well.
I have this fancy-dancy scale that is supposed to be the most accurate consumer scale ever and has a lot of the same technology as the one my doctor uses that costs thousands. (Mine was $350, which is still pretty pricey for a scale. LOL)
But even with that scale I am always 2 pounds more in the office due to wearing clothes and eating breakfast.
The number on the scale doesn't matter though. It's how much space you take up. And that hasn't changed. It's also how much you've lost relative to the last time. So I use my scale to keep track of relative changes and they always agree with what the doctor has recorded even if his numbers are 2 lb. higher than mine.
