What are your top three recent NSVs?
I posted about mine recently, but I'll repost. :)
1. My size 16 jeans look like I have a diaper on and I needed to get 14s! :)
2. Being able to run faster, jump higher, and change directions more quickly at tkd!! :) Oh and planks, planks are easy peasy now that my belly isn't pulling me down as much! :D (Can't wait to see how easy they are when I am at/near goal!)
3. This was from Friday--I got a workout shirt from the REGULAR department at Target! It's still XXL, but it's not from the plus sized dept!!! AND, it's loose!

1. All the compliments I got this weekend for being "skinny", yeah right.
2. Having the energy to do all my pony stuff and not be dead at the end of the day.
3. Feeling ok driving a small pony. I have always hated seeing fat old ladies driving little ponies.

1. I put on a pair of shorts from last summer today and they are way too big.
2. I saved a pair of cut off shorts from the early 70's that I used to wear over my bikini- I tried them on tonight and they fit. I would never ever wear them anywhere, but for some reason I kept them all these years and found them in the drawer tonight.
3. Being able to play outside with my DGD's and chase them around without feeling like I couldn't breath.

It is funny what we keep from our past. These are cut off jeans that only have 1 button left and they are pretty torn up. When I wore them I thought I looked good so I guess I kept them. Like I said I would never wear them - my legs look pretty bad, but it felt good to fit in them. I also kept my sweater from high school that we all wore on game day when I played basketball in high school. Of course I have my letter jacket and I kept a shirt someone gave me that meant alot to me. I tend to hang on to things that bring back memories of happy times!!
Lee, you are doing such a great job. The low carb seems to be working for you. Ten more pounds to your goal. It is great that you have worked so hard and found what is right for you.

You are all so inspiring!!! I can't wait to have NSV's post op, but I figured I'd share some Pre-Op.
1. Working out each and every day without finding excuses to not.
2. Not being as obsessed with food even though I'm on a diet (for the ins.)
3. Working now on why I've had problems with food and trying to find the root problems. I want to fix me now so when I lose weight I don't have to worry so much about regaining it.

Kelly, those are great victories regardless of whether you're pre or post op. I love #3 because it will help determine your post-op success. It's not so much about fixing you as it is fixing your relationship with food. You're not broken, but maybe how you view food, is and needs some work.
