Hey Gail,

I see that you added a new goal of 110 and look how close you're getting.  You must feel terrific!

My shoes are getting too big as well.  :)

I do feel great. After seeing my PCP, I revised my goal downwards. He said that 110 would be a good weight for me, since I am only 4'11."  For some reason, the past 2-3 weeks, I have been shedding more weight. Not doing anything very different, but I did add a bit more cardio and my thyroid medication was increased. Maybe, those two things are helping. I'll take it.

Thyroid meds.  After 6 months on the meds, maybe they are starting to kick in for me.  Who knows, I'll just keep doing the lower carb, higher exercise and see what happens.

I think it's great that your PCP gave you a goal that you will easily get to.  I'm so proud of you!!

What you're doing seems to be working. Keep up the great work!!!!

I may be able to get to 110, but I wonder, how difficult it will be to maintain. I think, I bypassed 110, when I was in elementary school. I'm glad that he didn't say 100 lbs. LOL!!!

 #1 walking up and down the stairs without thinking

#2 having my husband's friends notice my new figure

#3 actually making it through a kickboxing class (I thought I would probably only be able to do five minutes-yeah!!)

And I agree that it is crucial to find those NSVs.  I'm one of those who loses slowly but I am learning to appreciate the little things every day.

Being able to see my woo ha again and shaving there.
Exercising twice (so far) this week for 30 minutes straight.
I went to buy some leggings and all they had was small so I bought them and they fit.

1.  I wear mostly 12's but I have a few 10's that fit...fit might be used loosley, but with a weartshirt to cover my muffin top...they fit!

2.  I am taking compliments better.  Everyone keeps calling me skinny, I have to keep reminding them I am still technically obese and have a long way to go!

3.  When I went on vacation and was wearing swimsuits dresses etc my legs no longer rub together.  I get to throw the chafing cream out!!!

Great question!

1.)  I had to go for pre op testing this past week for an upcoming surgery and when the lady at the admission registration desk put on my paper bracelet she said "oh my you have tiny wrists"

2.)   I guy whistled at me in a parking lot the other day 

3.)  My daughter telling me I have little chicken legs.

 little clothes ....  did I  mention little clothes  ....

being able to wear  just about anything in my closet without worrying wether I'll fit into it ...
